Unkillable mobs suck.. get rid of them

Spent 5 minutes face tanking a mob i cant kill .
I cant leave either ... im in an event ....

1) Trapped in a circle with a mob that regens faster than i can kill it.
I just melted the whole screen ... Ohh look another AN GARBAGE mob.

2) Trying to stop the mobs from killing the tree as part of the league mechanic ... ohh joy it killed the tree in 15 seconds.... i then get to continue fighting it for another 4 minutes

3) Contagion, ED , Golem , Void Sphere , Soul Rend Totems all going off on it ...
all at the same time ..... not even dropping the regen on the shield..

The first one was Chaos Resist and you refused to kill the thing enfeebling you. Neither of these are Archnemesis (Wildwood mob).

The second was a Wildwood boss reused for Settlers, again Archnemesis has nothing to do with it (no, not the life regen magic mobs, also Wildwood, and Life Regen mobs existed well before AN).

If you're going to blame something, please blame the actual problem, not a phantom, you'll get more done.
Neither change that im trapped in a circle with no way to get out.
I did learn that it resets after 5 or more minutes.

That great stuff there, trapped in an event, i don;t care how.
I care bout ... in stuck in an event with a mob going ape $%^&$% with no way to run or escape without opening inventory and porting out.

Unless you think we should have logout macros ?
Just block Ritual if you can't deal with it
tbh i do feel the ritual mobs are overtuned.

i enjoyed affliction league a huge lot, but i do remember i hated all the regening mobs we had during that league even back then.

its frustrating and at times i actually just legit run past them.

encountering them in rituals felt bad.

for those saying "block ritual".

imho ggg should review the mobs. i dont dislike ritual and its usually one content i usually spec into.

seeing these mobs return? i think i might need to block em.

Look into ways of penetrating or reducing resistances, as well as ways to stop or limit regeneration. These are solvable problems, stop slamming your head against a wall and spend a few minutes to figure out why you are struggling. Like I didn't see Despair (or any other curse) being used at all, at the very least socket it and use it on chaos resist enemies that don't die quickly.

Enemies are generally only unkillable when you are doing something wrong.
You are not alone with "unkillable" mobs.
1. Soul eater
2. Extra life
3. Life regen
4. Life leech
5. Hasted/Haste aura

Mix at least two of thoose affixes and the rare monster become extra uber boss of the map, not mentioning that mob can have 3 at once.

1. Soul eater the tactics should be to move rare from other mobs, but it's not possible every time. My build is typical zoo necromancer with mix of zombies, golems, spectres, skeletons, phantoms and raging spirits. And this affix boost the mob every time my temporal minion dissapear because out of his time or summoned to much at once. I should not be forced to stop using temporal minions to fight a merely rare mob and sometimes it's not enough because other minions don't have enough power to obliterate it.
2. Extra life and any other affixes create a tank mob that is boosted with map affixes that can create a tank with not only abnormous life pool but also with nuke bombs in his arsenal.
3. Life regen, I am using debuffs to cut this but it's still not enough. Alone this affix is not very hard but when mob have also another life boosting affix then, oh god it will be long fight.
4. Life leech, this should be nerfed when mob have also any attack speed boosting affix.
5. Haste/haste aura, lets kill the mob that can attack faster than a player with all of the haste auras, passive nodes, haste boosting items and add to this life leech.

GGG should really reconsider matching affixes on mobs because this can even happen early during campaign when you have zero possibilities to counter it.

There is a new hot key setting for portal in options.

So you don't have to open your inventory.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you're unable to do damage to them, isn't that a DPS issue more than an 'unkillable mob' issue?

The Affliction mobs they added into Ritual are weirdly bulky I'll agree, particularly the witches, but I've had no problems killing them. Unless I don't watch the troll shaman and miss the incoming boulder, anyway. But that's a me problem.
