Disable other people MTX in towns

This might be rose-tinted memory but I seem to remember playing games like WoW (many years ago) and seeing people showing off phat gear in towns. The best dressed were people who'd beat the hardest content. Yes, there was the odd scrub standing naked on a mailbox doing a Shakin' Stevens dance routine and begging for tips. But generally the people with horrible outfits were new.

There are some great MTX combinations to be had in PoE which look awesome, but the trouble with average PoE MTX as shown in town is it often looks like a truckload of halloween costumes crashed into a busy paint factory during an electrical storm, and the whole thing caught fire. And now a number of mariachi bands have moved in playing 24/7, and meantime some demons got drunk, fell into a nearby well and are constantly shouting loudly for help to get out.

It's kinda reaching critical mass. Town isn't somewhere I go to look at the cool MTX. I would like somewhere to go like that, but the closest is the sale forum threads GGG post, or in build of the week. Town is somewhere I try get out of as fast as possible so I don't have to listen to the screaming demons or a 200 decibel rendition of La Cucaracha for the 100,000th zarking time.

I've found that general complaints don't get you very far with a business. But, if you show you're willing to pay money for a service - and I absolutely am - you'll get farther than merely filling out the on-line equivalent of "dissatisfied with service" forms.

I'm pragmatic. When I want something, I will do effective things to get it. Complaints don't accomplish much.

Cash? You can get a long ways in life with cash. In fact, you can get pretty much anything you want with enough of it.

As I said, I live in the world as it is - not how I wish it could be.
