Disable other people MTX in towns

I don't know about ignorant, but you're certainly missing the point.

I tend to avoid flaunting my forum badges because it's cringe AF, but I do in fact own quite a lot of MTX; among others, I own last year's voidborn core supporter pack which allows my character to float along instead of walking.

At no point am I entitled to force someone else to watch me fly around town hubs. That's just for me, party members, and anyone watching me stream the game. If someone else wants to disable the effect over on their end, for literally any reason, they should absolutely be allowed to do so. It doesn't AFFECT me, and it improves their game experience.

as i previously said, my take was off topic therefore not related to the main point, because if you read carefully I never mentioned that I'm against the thread; in fact, I'm absolutely in favor of the option to turn off others mtx

I can't believe it's not fixed yet. And on top of ruined graphics in towns we now are forced to listen to the same clown music again and again.

Firstly, well sure, I have no mtx bought (at least I don't remember) or badges but, I have tabs cause it's what is truly worth to buy in my opinion and it's complicated to play PoE without those. So, I'm no longer really a parasite here who shit's on the game but never spent a penny. You are wrong here.

Secondly, I have enough of a PC to handle the MTX, apart from it being annoying. I also disabled all sound (apart whisp, filter etc.) to not hear annoying MTX sounds so, I kinda solved my own problems.

Yet, I will still advocate to let us disable other MTX or load directly into HO. I didn't say that GGG should not sell MTX, I said we should not be forced to see this whole rainbow cr*p especially at the cost of stability. GGG marketing team advertises their stuff pretty well with disclaimers etc. so, I doubt you will miss it anyways.

So sure, I'm a parasite who advocates for better experience for all of us when clearly, I've got very little issue with it myself. But knowing how often people crash loading into towns or rogue harbours... Well, players have got problems so when I say that their concerns are legit and I agree with them, I'm a villain and a parasite here?

But disabling mtx, what is the point to buy mtx then? Some people want to treat this game as a singleplayer where there are no mtx, they alone stand in town and favour instant buyouts. This game started as an online rpg game.

In online games like Everquest, people showoff their top rewards for having done the most complex and/or hardest quests. New players can immediately tell they have earned their scars on the battlefield.

The argument is meaningless.
The main point is that the game is already overheating most people's computers, as well as the fact that most recent MTXs are a complete overkill and childish in their nature.
Believe me, the game is full of people who don't want to see other people's MTXs. And it's their right to have them visually disabled.

I've never been the sort of person who wants to "show off" to others - or been overly concerned of their opinions of me, what I do or what I say. I'd happily bay 60.00 to 90.00 for the ability to disable MTX sound - a slider would be good. A checkbox great too. (MTX for other players On-Off, MTX Sound for other players On-Off).

Or just an apparition that brutally murders the pets of other players - for me only of course. I'd maybe even pay 100.00+ dollars for something that awesome.

I wonder if you can still buy unique items - maybe I should try to have them make a unique item that can be used in town to kill pets - for the wielder only naturally - and it does no damage in PvE or PvP zones.

Perhaps a Fishing Pole with a Katana Handle...

The nature of these "battle scars" are partially players wallet. So the genuineness of these battle scars in that sense is questionable.

Those that are achieved via achievements/challenges, well, sure, I guess those are "battle scars". But not some goblin band that scream some weird noises and piss everyone off who didn't disable sound.

The only thing that is shown off in such case is that someone has money to buy MTX. Good for them I guess.

Anyways, this is not some personal attack just a comment on your comment or how I personally see it.
