Disable other people MTX in towns
This should not be something we have to fight GGG for every single league. They can very easily fix loading times and latency in town this way but they dont. Having to fight GGG for the tiniest QoL features for years really makes me never want to spend a cent on them.

As much as I can agree with this, unfortunately there are MTXs that are specifically made for show-off. I do not approve them since it's a joy for the kids but when you think this game is PEGI 18 - theoretically no kids should be playing it, so the show-off MTXs should be reduced to 0... theoretically... Speaking of this, the problem is simply that the graphic stutter is unbearable for many players since last league. Now, since a few funny MTXs can be a nice addition to the game and nobody actually wants any MTX removed, I'd like to propose two things:
1. GGG explains the reason for the unnecessary graphic changes from last league that had literally no beneficial practical effect. 2. There should be a checkbox setting to turn on/off other people's MTXs. This should literally be a choice for every player. I dare GGG to convince us that people are obligated to observe someone's MTX. It's just, at this stage of development and game system requirements, such a setting is not only 'helpful'; it is mandatory. Last edited by fostaa#0384 on Dec 19, 2023, 8:48:07 AM

The worst part about these MTX's is the fact that they seem to be somehow poorly optimized. Each time you load into town your shader cache goes insane, and that's probably because of those MTX's. It cause lag and longer load times too.
Why in the name of f*ck GGG thought that I care about other people's MTX and I have to see them is beyond me. Didn't buy a single one of those since the start of PoE and the game released when? 2014? Just make a login to HO as an option if you are so stubborn about those MTX's, this would at least be something. New mute system is terrible - no trade... Add that option or login to hideout already, Heist is literally unplayable for so many because rogue harbor is a rainbow soup of mtx people making your PC lift off and shader cache constantly full, also dynamic resolution kicks in and makes them all blurry and ugly anyway so those MTX aren't even being shown off to you in a good way at all lol And loading even into lioneye's watch is a pain, game's ram usage goes up to 7 GB,shader and drive bars constantly full and loading screen is still horrible after the infamous Crucible "engine upgrade" patch you did and caused soooo many performance issues with. |

I'm using 4090 and 13900k, but when MTX is displayed in the city, the frame rate temporarily drops below 60.

I agree with this - though only for obnoxious animated / particle / SOUND effects.

" I was able to reply without any swear word, and I think I expressed my concept in a pretty chill manner, like I'm not even mad, why would you tell me to calm down :D Anyway, I understand that MTX it's not the only mt that GGG provides, but my thought was about a more complex idea. Like, people buy games regularly from franchises that literally copy-paste things, but you're against spending one-time 50€ (or whatever currency) for a game that releases leagues regurarly, with whole new features? I guess I'm just ignorant |
