Do you like this Affliction league? Or Tota was better league than that? Your thoughts.

Tota and sanctum were awesome, but this one is easily one of the worst one in my opinion.

I just did a conqueror map with "monsters have 70% chance to avoid elemental ailments" (explosive arrow) and some other mods and the map was much easier than a tier 11 burial chamber buffed with the league mechanic.

Tota had superior rewards, but gameplay was an absolute borefest. Affliction has improved gameplay streamlined with mapping but the Wildwood concept is pretty weak and boring in current state.

It buffing ultimatum just feels bad when the ultimatum monsters don't drop loot

Ultimatum does not give any loot (only reward from mechanic itself). So Affliction buffing monsters, making them harder and drop more loot... except it drops no loot. It makes no sense and should be fixes ASAP. But ofc GGG dont care.
I like that it's a league mechanic I can do in-line with my mapping, the league ascendancy stuff is cool, I just think that they need another tuning pass on empowered mobs in the way of adjusting how empowerment scales when mobs get more than one stack.

Haven't started this league because playing other games (Guild wars 2, Beyond All Reason and finally finished Two Worlds).

Tota might be bad mechanics but it was unmatched when it comes to making currency. More than 50 casual raw divines and tons of other tattoos and stuff (Hinekora etc.). Never made so much bank.
I am truly enjoying Affliction.
Could not stand Tota at all.

So, you have to suffer a bad mechanic to make currency so you can play a bad mechanic. Sounds a bit convoluted.

I'd rather be broke playing something fun TBH.
There's a main thing messing me up with this mechanic. You cannot play the league mechanic and look for dust + npc buy or bosses without ruining the map thats going to wait for you on the exit.

I don't know WHY there's no gigant SKIP BUFFING MONSTERS ON MAP button so you dont ruin your goddamn map.

It has become pointless to run the mechanic before running the map, and you have to walk back if you want to enter (another missing button, like ritual or methamorph)

Just like delirium was insanely fk up difficulty for solo players (it has skip button for non-delirium-orbed maps), but this time we don't have te aurastacking build option that lets you cheese all the content.

So it's basicly missing two buttons (skip, summon on me) that are obvious to exist but don't
