Insane Latency Spikes and Game Crashes since 3.23

I have the same issue. Some instances work fine. I even had a streak of 5-6 Maps that went smooth, but then i lost 3 Maps in a row due to the instances being laggy.
impossible to play anything, its just a gamble if i get laggs or not
same here.
>120000ms here. wtf is this.
same here
as yesterday https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3454550/page/5#p25176925 every time the routing goes through twelve99.net nodes the spikes and/or ping is really bad, but there was also this example where only the destination had packet loss: https://pastebin.com/tGak1kyK

further traces for twelve99 nodes:
data from a hideout instance https://pastebin.com/KAYznLcv

map with bad ping but no spikes https://pastebin.com/pZBZbjwW

for comparison instances with no lag spikes:

hideout https://pastebin.com/uM6zFHfB

map with good ping: https://pastebin.com/M4y1gjSW

i hope this helps
I have the same problem since the update. Never had the issue before.

I don't know if this will help anyone else, but it went away for me when I changed from Paris/Amsterdam/London/Milan to Moscow gateway (~70ms for me).

2 good days of league and 3 days for the fourth decorating HOs because the drop in FPS is disgusting, less particles and more FPS
Want to add my experience here. My guess is that the servers are overloaded when too many players log on.

From 8 am to 2 pm I have no issues (GMT EU based). Starting from 2 pm the lagspikes increase (more players logging on after school / work). At 7pm to 10pm the game is a gamble. If you hit a good server that hosts your map you are fine (1 out of 5 I guess). 4 out of 5 times you hit a bad server and the lag spikes ramp up to 3-5k ms. Only thing to do then is to open another map and hope for the best.

I think with player quitting the leagues over time it will get better, but meh...

On average there is around 20%-30% package loss at the ip from the servers.
