Problem seems to be solved by using the windows firewall to block the route to 185.225.208.0/24.

I seems to work for me.
Let me know, if it works for you as well.

How to do this?

Here is a short description.
Checking Google how to set up a custom firewall rule might help as well.

Type Win-Key and search firewall
Start Windows Defender Firewall
->Advanced settings
->Outbound Rules
->New Rule
->Custom
->Next
->All Programs (keep default)
->Next
->Keep defaults for all ports
->Next
->Select These IP addresses for the remote address (lower box)
->Add
->Enter 185.225.208.0/24 in This IP address or subnet
->OK
->Next
->Block the connection (default)
->Next
->Apply it to all profiles (default)
->Next
->Name the rule (Exclude POE Server) or what ever you like
->Finish

The way the rule is currently configured may be a bit rudimentary, but it should suffice for the time being. Remember to deactivate it once the server issue is resolved. In theory, this rule will also restrict access to other servers, apart from POE, since we have blocked a total of 254 server addresses. I highly doubt that you'll need any of these 254 servers at the moment.

Hope this helps

EDIT: It appears to be functioning well for me thus far. I haven't extensively tested it. I did notice some disconnection issues when entering my hideout once, but after three attempts, I managed to enter successfully. This disconnect might be a side effect of the firewall rule.

EDIT2:
Hmmmm, if the client spawns a map instance on a blocked server, you cannot enter the map. The client just disconnects.
So, the supposed solution does not work.

This helped me a lot!

Edit: Even hideout is blocked sometimes, damn... Other than that it was working fine.

There are no answers from GGG on this problem, just as there were no answers from them in 3.22 league on fixing problems with "performance" (to be honest, I have not noticed any improvements on performance, there are still lags as there were in the beginning of 3.22 + to lags with performance added lags with latency).
Over 240 000 ms and counting as I'm writting this post
Due to the fact, that the tool ExitLag seems to solve the problem, we can expect is has something to do with network routing and might not be in the hands of GGG.
GGG might need to find another data center and this could take some time.
its getting worse and worse here. Groupplay impossible right now.
Even singleplay insane latency spikes...

Dont know what to do :/
since yesterday i'm crashing ALOT. Doing 5ways is 1 map survive 1 map crash.. unplayable. Have a high end PC too.
I got this problem several leagues. Lost a cortex map and a maven invitation to this now. I am getting really mad. This has been a known issue for years now.

In my opinion a question in the next league reveal q&a should be whether they are aware and when they are going to fix this.

You can not tell me it is my connection as long as I have ~15ms in ho, ~15ms in normal map and suddenly 500-6000ms...
i have extremly lags in Zones while Leveling Acts, some Zones no Lag, some Zone unplayable and my ping is 15-25 regardless of whether there is lag or not. Its not my Internet its some Zones, Gateway Change not working

Oasis massive lag, Mines no lag, Quarry+Ref massiv Lags, Belly to End of Act 9 no Lag, Start Act 10 Lag

@GGG why do you not reply to those massive problems from your servers?
Did you investigate this issue? Do you know why this happens on some isntances and on other not?
Keep your Wits about you.

Simply unable to do heist content at all. In Rogue Harbor or in a Heist contract, after a minute or two I spike to 16k+ms latency and my client disconnects. It now seems to effect me in ever instance.

I deleted my cache at %AppData%\Path of Exile and it did not help. Reset modem/router and it did not help. This is not a me problem, it's a PoE server problem.

I have a GeForce 3080 with an i9 and 64gigs of RAM.

Windowed Full Screen
DirectX 11
Multithreading: on

Hi there,
Geforce RTX 4070, 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K 3.00 GHz 32Gig RAM
here.
I tried almost every option there is dx11/dx12/vulcan - windowed fullscreen / fullscreen, steam client / standalone,

Do you get those closing errors as well? Like "failed to decompress (corrupted data)" ?

Have that every few zones... right now it reads: Shaders/Renderer/Nodes/GPUParticles.ffx:"failed to decompress (corrupted data)"
I get random freezes during loadingscreens ocasionally as well as some "just back to desktop" without any further notice.
My guess would be some preloading issue.

Concerning EU Lag spikes, i tried using Vladimir's Server (Moscow) at a stable 50ms Ping. Works perfect until my next corruted data kick...

Since i can play at a stable rate on the russian server i guess EU Lag spikes (partly a minute long) are not a GGG issue at all. Might be more of a EU DATA Security issue.

Hoping for some GEforce/Intel love until next week.
Right now there is just no reason to play. Sucks as the Game is in an awesome state ;)
What about monster golf? Hit it HARD - go find it - Hit it hard again :D
