Majority of people despise setting foot in the Labyrinth, despite what GGG believes, so I don't think the market will be flooded. Not like the market of alt quality gems were flooded, and I think most players rather do Heist all day than run Labyrinth all day. But so far these Transfigure gems don't look that impressive, so they might just be cheap because the anti-hype will hit us. Some tubers might make a build with one and it will spike for a day because of most players are copycats who can't think for themselves, that's about it.

I don't think people are going to be selling basic transfigured gems, just like they don't sell normal gems. It's meant to be easy enough to get the ones you want on your own that they aren't going to have any value very shortly into the league. What farming lab gets you is things like quality gems, exceptional gems, and leveled gems, those are the crafting options lab farmers are going to be picking and getting value out of. It's not going to be worth selling dozens of 0 quality level 1 transfigured gems, but selling 20% quality level 20 transfigured gems for people to double vaal (or doing it themselves and selling the outcome) will likely be a market.

I don't normally like running lab, and I never trade, but for the first time it feels like there is a worthwhile reason to farm it this league.

Because you couldn't target gems and now you can partially.

lab runs wont ever die becuz you can drop those op jewels who cost 50-150d now they gonna cost even more than before becuz they changed location in labs where they drop from

Lab dies as fast as the league does.

If Ultimatum and league mechanic manage to keep people playing more than 1 month lab might see more than usual action.

Keep in mind that people that don't like lab won't run it more just because of the rewards. Sure some might try a few extra runs; get junk from them and bail out and buy whatever they need.

1 Month in only people running lab will be those hunting the xp swap.

Lab dies on Valentines Day. Bring Izaro a box of chocolate and a bunch of wilted roses.

Lab's not gonna die and will be really profitable. Why? Because you don't just "get 1 gem you need and be done with it". People will want 21/23 gems, and Lab is the only source of new Transfigured gems, it seems. All those Heist runners that supplied market with alternate quality gems and Regrading lenses are gone. If they all don't switch to running Lab(and many won't cuz Heist is more enjoyable and still profitable) then we'll see a big deficit of Transfigured gems. Some Transfigured 21/23 gems will probably worth more than any alternate quality gems ever did.

Also, it's not really clear from the trailer but it looked like you can use Lab fountain multiple times now instead of 1, using all 4 random crafts it offers. If that's the case then this would be great.
