So was this not a NERF over All?

Ashes is fine. Likely to be very much sought after due to quality changes. It's just not insta bis because of the 20% efficiency now. I like it. Honestly, I'd say it's a buff even, because you don't need to divine two stats now.

Losing boot enchants is a bit sad, but we get charms ascendancy in exchange. There's definitely compensation.

Losing boots enchants will hurt totem/mine builds the most. They lost 120% crit crate from boots.
ashes of star is not killed with the new quality bonuses wich alot of them are insane the ashes still gonna cost alot
Don't forget we so lose belt enchants. Not that everyone used them but some of them are as important as a vaal implicit or synth implicit.

Losing boot enchants is a far bigger deal. And losing glove enchants removes an easy automation tool.

Not the worst thing, but it does mean that a lot of builds lost numbers overall, even with whatever small buffs transfigured gems give them.

Some builds lose out even with a new ascend tree.
Not gonna lie, I never used gloves enchant nor belt enchant and only time I used boots enchant was when I played something that could use the one that gives 120% extra crit rate. (or when I bought boots that already had one)

Your friend is correct.

This was overall a massive nerf in power for every single build in the game.

Transfigured gems are meant to add different styles of gameplay to many familiar skill gems.

Don't listen to the fanboys (which the majority of the players on these forums are) They will defend GGG because of the amount of time and money they have committed to the game and they are unable to come face to face with the truth.

Denial is not just a river in Egypt.

GGG has over the last year plus stated their every intention is to slow the gameplay down and reduce power of all builds to bring the game in line with how POE2 will play.

Nothing has changed here.

They've just gotten better at making a crap sandwich look more appetizing than it used to.

Tell me mister "I know all" why the fuck would they slow down PoE to be on par with PoE 2? Whats the point of having two same games? Its best to their interest to have them both as diffrent as possible so if you are bored of one, you go to another one. Making same game twice is most stupid thing one can ever do so it just shows how "smart" you are thinking thats their goal.

You cry that you lost 1% of your build power due to removal of lab enchants meanwhile we got so much powercreep in last years that builds with 10M DPS are now considered "zdps" while everything (monsters) in the game is pretty much the same as it was when our build were barely reaching 5M DPS.

[Removed by Support]

Why would GGG make it like POE 2? because they said that's what they are going to do, because in it's current state POE 2 plays too slow compared to POE 1 and they have major concerns that players will not migrate to the new game for this reason...

If you would think for one second you would realize that slowing down PoE 1 wont make poeple migrate to Poe 2. It will make them leave both. If they wanted to force people to migrate to PoE 2 then they would go with their plan to just make PoE into PoE 2 instead leaving both alive. But you know better, for sure ;)
Also just because for you its "ridiculus amount of money" doesnt mean its not pocket money for somene else.
