Bloodnotch Combo does not work

At least i think.

I have 42 ES and use Stun treshold is based on 60% of your ES instead of life.
Stun avoidance is 28%. So most hits should stun me.
55% of all stunning hits should be recovered.
Yet 1 single dude on Blood Aqueduct kills me.
Is see no recovery at all between the hits.

How can i test if it works?
Im bad at math.

The recovery is instant.

You can test for example by comparing #hits_until_you_dead with it and without it.

Or simply recording the damage numbers while being crit immune and having no armour. There should be some higher values due to not being stunned.

Or you could use cwdt and compare the amount of damage you took according to life/ES globe vs the damage needed for trigger.
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
Dying in BA, now that's the real issue.

You mean the start? Or the full recovery?
I thought it was over 4 sec.

Removing bloodnotch doesnt change the Hits before death.
As it shouldnt because the Tagline is red, means PoB cant compute.
Neither does unwavering stance changes anything.
Removing "have you been hit rencently?" although changes the Hits before death slightly from 12.8s to 12.4s
But hit does not mean stun.

At first i thought the hits where just too small to notice the 55% recovery from the few stunning hits.
But running maps didnt gave me any recovery neither.
I even changed my gear to have 0 Regen.

The whole recovery (40%..60%) is instant.

Did you actually test this or are you just "testing" in PoB?

Its not recovery over time. See also: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Bloodnotch

Bloodnotch is "recover", not "recoup".
Leech is also recovery.
And its over time, hence the Mastery 10% of leech is instant.

Where can i read this?
Neither on the Bloodnoth nor the Recovery Wiki is the word instant used in general,
only for exceptions like Bloodseekers Life Leech from Hits with this Weapon is instant.

Recovery without specifying over time is instant. Leech, Recoup are forms of recovery that work over time.

Recovery spans a lot of things.

Keywords like "Leech" and "Recoup" specificly include durations in their definitions. "Regeneration" also occurs over time, but generally has infinite duration. Flask recovery is based on Flask Duration.

But those definitions are all "Recover ... over time". Duration is not a property "Recovery" naturally has.

If you need evidence that "Recovery" not linked to a duration is instant, try playing around with things like:

Recovery Mastery "3% chance to Recover all Life when you Kill an Enemy"
Recovery Mastery "Every 3 seconds, Consume a nearby Corpse to Recover 10% of Life"
Warcry Mastery "Recover 15% of Life when you use a Warcry"
Flask Mastery "Recover 4% of Life when you use a Flask"

Thanks for clarifications.

I will respec some points to see if i notice a difference.
