Constant Crashing (Failed to decompress - corrupted data)

same issue, nothing i've done has yielded any positive results on my

i7 9700k
2070

it all sucks cause i must've crashed 3-400 times this league already im spending more time relaunching to crash than actually playing
had this on the first day of this league, disabling hyper-threading from bios stopped it. it is not a fix, it is a temporary solution though.
both method worked for me

1.disabling hyper-threading from bios
2.disabling engine multithreading in game option

method 2 makes game 30 fps, so would not recommend

thank you for this thread

Now trying to be b in invasion league
Crashing alot this sucks
Unplayable unfortunately. Putting it away.

GeForce 2060, driver 546.33.

Now that I got to Act 6, crashes every 10min of gaming.

Tried majority of the "solutions" in this thread but none of them worked.
Has anyone here by any chance purchased an armor bundle? Im getting the corrupted data error and continuous crashing, but the window for the crash is showing a filepath associated to an armor.

Was having this issue constantly since last league

Posting this in case it helps someone...

- Tried disabling hyper-threading -> didn't work
- reinstalled drivers graphics nvidia -> didn't work
- updated windows -> didn't work
- Disabled other overclocking options in my system bios -> have been able to start without crashes more than ever before (about 10 times so far)
- also in general - there is also the affinity change to set affinity only to first half cores when running.

Hope this helps someone.

putting this here because i struggled with this.... BIOS Update and also turn off overclocking. havent crashed since.

I am using an rog strix ASUS MB. intel i9 14th gen.

very high end pc and was very frustrated but this does fix the issue. it seems their updates sometimes break if the bios isnt up to date with what they update.

and then OC for high end intels also breaks the game sometimes
Seconding this. Was really struggling with fairly constant random disconnects since start of league. Read this and updated BIOS and then all good.

EDIT: Spoke too soon. Next day started going wonky again. Sucks cuz this is a good league but it's so freaking maddening with all these disconnects.

I've also been plagued by this crash this league. I think some of this has to do with intel i9 13900 and 14900k chips. I myself have a 13900k. I recently updated the BIOS to include the microcode fix for the intel chips and this crash got much worse. For a while I rolled my BIOS back to July ASUS bios and was able to run POE without many crashes, but for the sake of my $400 plus CPU I reluctantly updated my BIOS again hoping being out of BETA would fix any issues i've been having. The only fix for me so far is using Intels XTU software and turning my performance core clock from x55 to x54. Give this a shot and let me know. The only issue is XTU setting needs to be changed after each restart back to x54. I have no other issues gaming COD or Elden Ring. Not sure if this means GGGs engine is having issues with intel chips or something else on Intels end.
