Still having this same issue, tried most of what OP tried, got worse after the most recent patch.

I would rather have the longer loading time issue others have.

If there was just a way to switch from crashing to longer loading time, I'd be pretty happy about it.

Have an AMD 7700x, 32 gb ram, RX 7900 XT, m.2 ssd for hard drive.
Got crash & rollback for a few min, every day the whole week. Tired from loosing my instance and loot.
Still having the issue myself, thought it fixed with the cores, but was only temporary. It seems to get into a habit of multiple crashes then works for a map or two, then another bunch of sporadic crashes.
Same issue while loading into maps.

Ryzen 5800x
RTX 3070

Disabling "Engline Multithreading" fixed the issue
**BUT**

Who tha fok likes to play in 30 fps. i hope they fix it
anyone still got the bug? it hit me this league
It started for me this league...no fix so far. Game is basically unplayable for me right now.

EDIT

It looks like disabling Engine Multithreading in the graphics tab under advanced settings has solved the issue for me.

What worked for me is:

Go to taskmanager -> pathofexile -> and set active cores not all but only 16 to 31 -> i dont get that error anymore when I do that but fps goes down a bit

(I have a 13900k cpu, if you have another one just use only the 2nd half of your cores)

GGG needs to do something about it though... this has been going on for almost a year now
Check out my Fire Nova Mine Guide (3.2) : https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1774498

im try to disable hyperthreading in bios it work
1. Multithreading off solves the issue for me

2. Disabling the first half of your cores for Path Of Exile in the Task Manager with Multithreading turned on also seems to work for me

but..

you have to do it everytime you restart PoE i think

This problem occured the first time like 2 leagues ago I think, before that i didnt have any issues.

Pc is over 6 years old by now, maybe its time for a new one, but that might not solve the issue, do we even know why this happens?
