Content Update 3.22.0 -- Path of Exile: Trial of the Ancestors

Man this is disappointing. No real changes again? And this took 4 months?

Just hire a few people to focus on improving underperforming skills, ascendencies, uniques and passives. That is literally all I want.

Both Ascendency reworks where severly underwhelming, and was torn to shreds in a few hours by anyone who did a little napkin math.

The patchnotes used to be a time of celebration and excitement. Now it is just sadge.

@Chris Wilson: Can Ruthless please drop more orbs of unmaking? If i made the wrong decisions with my first atlas passives it basically completely bricks the tree for the whole league, because you can easily end up with a tree that doesnt allow you to get to yellow maps. Even better than that tho would be if we could no longer trade regrets for alchs, and instead trade scours for alch directly and have regrets droprate buffed. That is because they have alot of important uses, most importantly reseting gem levels to one, so one can reuse valuable support gems and auras for leveling new characters. This whole thing is my major pain with ruthless, as it actively discourages experimentation.

90% of the gems (be it support or skill) have been useless for a long time. No one at GGG checks poe ninja stats.. e.g. who uses a support gem to a skill which provides life steal but no damage? 0% of players have been using life leech support. I dont think they have a position in their staff for balancing stuff. They just ignore 90% of the content and occasionally (every 4-5 leagues or so) modify values on 10-15% on gems to shuffle the meta a little. Gems are just one thing out of many not monitored things in this game. div cards are the same. We have tons but only a few are worth something, the rest just garbage. Balancing them? No way..

GGG, There are still 7 days left. Can you do at least some meta-shift on gems? Show us that you are not Blizzard and you care, show us that you listen to us.

Please stop wasting resources on ruthless for 1 day and PoE2(cause the current version is as boring and ruthless total boring game and a waste of resources) and give us meta shift-meaning some buffs, and some nerfs. Is it that hard?
3.15 was a joke. 3.19 was a disaster. Archnemesis/Ruthless/Crucible(Archnemesis 4.0?) - worst ideas. Ruthless is a joke, a waste of resources. PoE2(exilecon version) was super disappointing.

I don't play ruthless, but I would argue that it is the best version of the game. As it used to be in closed beta. Slow and steady.

This, exactly this.
Affliction and Necropolis worst leagues ever. The current game design has slowly turned this game into a loot-shower fest, chase uniques are way too available; and obtaining chase items through stacked decks simply isn't fun. Rework stacked decks needed.
GGG nerfed Breaches and now Timeless Conflict. Do you really want us to fail to get level 100 don't you ?

But finally you got it: character's defences are usefull to defend resolve in Forbidden Sanctum, was it so difficult to understand ? You completely wasted a whole league to get it. No words.

Surely the text for Gladiator is wrong, right?

> Gain 50% Base Chance to Block from Equipped Shield instead of the Shield's value.

This means you halve your chance to block.

when ruthless changes are longer than normal PoE... I was wondering that not many things changed once again while they got more poeple but who knew they worked on ruthless
