Not sure how turning all monster and player skills completely invisible helps visual clarity at all? Then you really will have zero idea what's going on...

but at least I will know the position of the enemy at all times, and see its animations... right now, i don't lol
Sounds like a skill issue to me. Lots of folks have no trouble parsing the light show. Maybe if you had a better machine to run the game on?

so are you calling me poor or dumb? or both?
Tell me, Aint.

You get your way, and Grinding Gear disables all skill effects and any other post-processing across the entire game for everyone. Okay.

How do you deal with the Searing Exarch's bullet-hell phase?

How do you know where the Shaper's ground degen fields are?

How do you avoid the collapsing-ceiling damage areas of the Minotaur, or the Vaal Oversoul?

How do you stay out of "patches of [X] Ground" areas in maps?

How do you do Breach at all, since you can't see the hand to trigger the event?

The request is short-sighted and misguided. we need to be able to see these things. Do they sometimes pile up and get absurd? Yes. You're still better off being able to see stuff than not being able to see stuff.
The issue isn't GPU, PoE barely gets over 2-3gb Vram as is, that's why even people with 2xxx are not having problems. The issue is CPU.

"Replaced Path of Exile's particle system with Path of Exile 2's GPU-based system. This allows more complex effects and offloads particle calculations to the GPU, which is designed for parallel tasks like this. This will slightly improve or slightly worsen particle rendering performance depending on whether you were CPU-bound or GPU-bound before."

If the intention was to make more use of the GPU, they failed hard.
Ruthless should be [Removed by Support].

I don't have a way- like i said, I don't know what particles actually are here, but I know I already can't see wtf is happening on screen so more of anything def wont help... it was just an idea?

For bosses (ubers) I would prob turn it back on, but the clutter there is minimal compared to mapping.

How about turning off player particle effects, this doesn't affect mob/bosses.

Even if you have the latest and greatest hardware, I feel PoE is best enjoyed if you're able to tone down the visual effects to a bare minimum. Your sole focus in end-game is to do things as quickly as possible without visual clutter getting in your way.
I'm just gong to say this.

Poe devs are really really out of there depth when it comes to performance. You can't make a system that runs endgame content without some sort of serious graphics hiccup, lag, stutter, whatnot.

The reccomended specs haven't been updated since acts 5-10 were added.

It isn't you, it almost always is ggg and how they manage servers.

My old PC started with PoE at the beginnigs (at that time game ended at the doors to Solaris Temple) at it held up. It took PoE through years but then problems started. Unstabe game, crashes, disconnections. I was on of those players creating/participating in those complain threads. And eventually game stopped working. Just that. Unplayable.

So i started doing different things.

After years i got new gamer rig (Predator Laptop - long story) and now PoE held better that ever before.

And i see those therads and i sometimes nostalgia on.

it is Your turn for that experience.
