As a mostly standard guy, i can tell that: Dont bother trying to become rich

Not only the deffinition of rich is quite different, with standard prices being much higher overall, the methods to get rich in a timely manner dont exist:
The league mechanics that enables the top juice levels on wathever current league are non-existent. GGG knows that if stuff like sentinel goes core as they were, it would break the game with mechanics piling on top of the other multiplicatively

Yeah, it already happens, but they control it by "subduing" the mechanic in the transition to core, so it is no(much) more rewarding than what we already have, thus, no overpowered seasonal content

Quite telling is that when the new mechanic is not overrewarding, people start screaming that "this shit league feel like standard"

I've been playing for over a decade now. I consider myself relatively poor. I have a huge stack of now relatively worthless exalts (around 600) and a small stack of divines (around 40). But I'm super prepared to try to pick up a final mod on an item when polishing up an endgame character. :-)
