[3.22] 💀The Grim Reaper💀 - Hexblast Poison Mines Assassin (SSF Viable, League-start viable, Uber)

I've been looking for a cool build to try on SSF and was getting pretty discouraged, until I found this one. I got sad when I saw the different ways to get curse on hit, but I just looked up the curse on hit corruption and saw that you can get it on ilvl 30 gloves? not sure if that is exactly accurate, and I'm sure I got lucky, but I just bought 3 ilvl 30 gloves off of the vendor in town and hit them with a binding orb and a vaal orb, got curse with vuln on the second pair of gloves. Will use these until I can upgrade my way for applying the curse, but super happy with this and thought I'd mention it in case anybody else needs to try it.

Don't start in Act 3, please :)

If you want to do it anyhow, you will have a bad time no matter what. Level with the Poisonous Concoction tree until much later.

Thoughts on PF?
I assume dmg ceiling is lower due to noncrit scaling but the permaflasks sound really good defensely and utility wise. While still gain dmg from ascendancy.

PF? Probably doable, just like Occultist... You'll just end up with a LOT less DPS, which means you need a lot more gear to make it feel good.

It kinda depends what content you'd want to that you feel Assassin would struggle with. I've done all Ubers with this, though of course with PF and immunity to damage, it's easier.

Thanks for the build guide! I'm giving this a play through on a fresh SSF HC run.

I wanted to see what the mine playstyle was like so I switched in act 4. It wasn't bad! I felt like my damage/safety went up with hexblast mines over poisonous concoction once I got used to the play style.

I just threw Temp Chains into blasphemy and picked up the curse area skill points + aura skill area mastery to boost curse range.

Would like to use this build for the next League. Hope not much changes. Please keep the build update. Thank you so much for the build.

I will be updating this when we get a patch, but let's be honest - this NEEDS a nerf. Hexblast Mines in general feel like it's an oversight, not intended game design.

hi guys, first of all thanks a lot for this great build, this is my first try with SSF and i'm having lot of fun

i've a quick question :

the guide says unbound ailment is the 6th in our bodyarmour setup. For now i only have 5 links so according to this i didnt put it. Nevertheless i checked on POB and it tells me that i will increase my DPS if i put unbound instead of trap and mine damage

do i have to trust POB or is there something i'm not taking in account ?

PoB is always right. The issue is that the Poison DPS happens over time, while the hit damage happens instantly - so Unbound Ailments is less effective when things die faster than Poison has time to finish doing it's full damage.

You can play around with it and see how it feels :)
