Nice straw man. No one sounding pissy or upset here is sounding that way because they don't have a life outside the game (except maybe some of the neurodivergent people, but so what? They are how they are).

The game is a part of their life - something most people would say is great because it means the game is really good and/or special in some way. But that cuts both ways, and no one should be surprised people who don't take games "too seriously" and who "have a life" are still able to also come in here and voice displeasure without any real person attacks or actual toxicity.


The people posting similarly to you just seem to be here to fan the flames. How does that help? If you want people to cool off a little, don't argue with them (regardless if flame fanning is intention/not).

Plenty of people ok with the changes are just saying that and moving along or leaving their own feedback in the relevant forums. "attacking" the people who are pissy only makes them angrier and solves nothing (of course, most of those doing that dont want to solve anything)

PoE was not designed for this mechanic. It ruins everything it touches. And its reputation is so toxic now that it's harming the long-term prospects for the game.

It is mind-boggling that you are this stubborn -- so hellbent -- about something so obviously bad for the game.

To those in power and their bootlickers - there is no complaint or protest that is actually ok or calm enough - it will always be "rudeness and hatred" even if one can barely find a post to justify those claims.

(I said "barely", I am sure you can quote the "f off" post if you want kek)

We saw this recently when people were peacefully protesting a certain judge, and now its here in the comments for a video game. It matters not what the power is, there is always someone to bootlick or fanboy over it, and the behavior is always the same.

Crystal-skinned

+40% to all Elemental Resistances (down from 50%)
Crystal explosions now deal damage of equal parts Fire/Cold/Lightning instead of just Cold. The damage of the skill is unchanged.


While we're at it, maybe make the crystals and explosion a color or colors associated with cold and/or other elements, rather than purple which means chaos damage in quite possibly literally every other skill-effect use (was gonna say Arakaali was the only exception I could think of, but nope, lighting converted to chaos)?

And maybe make the animation of the crystal being created at least as visually obvious as, say, the lightning mirages or whatever makes those frost-bolt-mine things I've never even felt the need to look up because they aren't that big a deal, as opposed to the present "a shiny purple keychain fob gets tossed to your character" that's easily covered up by almost any visual effect in the game?

That, making the new flame volatiles a little more visually distinct from Armageddon Brand meteors, and making it more visually obvious which magic monsters are part of an obelisk pack and tweaking (or for crying out loud inserting) code that prevents there being one member spawned that's inaccessible from where you've killed all the others, would address everything that feels like bullshit, as opposed to a sometimes-steep but ultimately fair challenge, to me with Archnemesis. And I'm playing an objectively poor build (in standard with CI, though, so maybe I'm missing some of the worst aspects, and I'm admittedly not juicing maps very aggressively...)

I highly doubt any serious testing was put into this league. This game is amazing, and it's sad to see what it's come to.

I made it to Act 8, and I have had exactly 5 alchemy orbs, 5 chaos orbs, and about 26 glassblower orbs (lucky full stack) drop. Is this working as intended?

Artificially increasing the difficulty of the game by starving players of item drops and forcing unwinnable encounters (Archnemesis) is not an enjoyable experience. With effectively no useful item drops, and overturned Archnemesis mobs, with movement speed double to triple that of the player, attacking 10 times per second for absurd amounts of damage, it don't matter if you nerf the defences of rares by 90%.. you still get killed in a fraction of a second with no possibility of escape.

This. Is. Not. Fun. Archnemesis. Is. Not. Fun. And does not add any value to the game. It's merely frustrating to deal with.

A large portion of your audience is not having fun as evidenced by unprecedented population drop off so quickly into the league. In previous leagues, these issues would have been addressed by now.

This league is easily fixed:

1) Buff item drops, not 25%. 1000%
2) Remove Archnemesis from core game and add as
a map affix
3) Buff Lake drops (no numbers here, defer to
others
4) Do items 1 to 3 now. Not tomorrow.
5) Don't put Archnemesis in 3.20
6) Thank me when it's done, because I saved your
game. A PM would work.

I hope someday the balance hits the perfect spot for players and GGG

If challenge and fun works together it's fine
But if the challenge is stressing to much, people will go to "hehe" to "not hehe" very fast.

I'm a avarage player, who plays in the little free time I have, and still reach T16 and try to do Uber bosses, just following good guides. This league I feel that all my "power" was gone and i can't even enjoy the game in the free hours I have because of too many dead AG and reeptitive clicks to summon my dead minions who have almost no life because of (?). Can't even do a T16 with pleasure anymore, with little loot and bad gameplay experience, its just not worth it :T

I love this game, but it's making me sad
