I imagine there is probably a reason behind this as to why it's been so long and not fixed. That's 100% of the issue here and everything else they have posted about it along with every fake and invalid argument put forth by people in this thread for why black bars are actually OK or good is 100% gaslighting nonsense. This is the closest GGG has ever come to behaving like a classic anti-consumer AAA publisher focused on quarterly profit margins over player experience, and it's why I will keep this thread here. 2 years, 171 days. They already did fix it as the game was never intended to run on such large aspect ratio. The single individual here just does not seem to get it and the reasoning behind the limitation. Meanwhile everyone else with such a large monitor would play the game and call it a day, or limit the screen size to what is supported and make use of the extra space for pob, youtube, discord or whatever else is on the list.
