How do you suggest to clear ultimatum when you randomly get the mod that apply ruin ( 7 ruin and it’s game over ).

That mod is actually present in the video. By the end of it I have 2 Ruin (debuff icon on the left).

It's a mob that teleports around randomly and casts Ruin on you if you are nearby. It rarely gets you when you are constantly moving. In maps you just don't choose it until round 9-10. In the Inscribed ones it just won't have enough time to get you before it's over.

I stopped bothering with the Harvest craft. This build already has 1600%+ Increased damage (depending on your Int). 14-15% you can get from Harvest really doesn't matter compared to that. Which is also the answer to the often asked question why we don't use Sulphur flasks for 40% Increased damage.

Doom Cast is still one of the final purchases at the high levels. I swapped it for a Poison Mastery specifically for this league to farm the mega juiced maps. Since I already have Ambush & Assassinate jewels, my crit chance doesn't suffer much. Poison applies while Atziri's Promise is running and makes the enemies unable to crit. Which is really nice against the wisped-up rares. It's not a 100% defense (some of them live longer than your flask and some can crit you before you hit them), but in combination with Solaris it's great.

I also spent more red currency than usual to get the Unnerve mod. Maybe it's just bad luck. Or maybe they nerfed it.

You can harvest craft it for 5000 blues and see a miniscule dps upgrade (i did it anyway lol), but that's like wasting 1 div worth of currency for very little if you're only starting out.

As others have also said, the Poison was for the critical strike negation (though I didnt go that way and went Doom Cast anyway)

For the reds...yeah I feel you. Spent 300 lesser blues to hit the craft too. bloody RNG.

PSA: 3 10% less mana reservation charms (which you can get for 100c each if you are patient) gives you more mana left than an enlighten 4 and doesn't take up a gem socket. Yeah, for this league, the charms are really helpful when you're starting out and can't afford Enlighten 3 (with some charms) or Enlighten 4 (without any charms).
I squeezed 3x +35 strength and int with 5% increased mana reservation as well and it worked well enough to squeeze in Hatred with another 3% increased mana reservation on a regular jewel. Newer players should definitely consider it.

For the richer players, an enlighten 4 allows you to use better charms. (Cannot be stunned while leeching + Frenzy charge on hit, Increased Area damage, etc)

You could upgrade the tier of your damage per int implicit on your gloves. Going from 3% to either 4% or 5% when a Pinnacle is nearby would give a nice boost.

Your lvl 1 CWDTs are not qualitied. Not sure if it makes a big difference.

Interesting tech with Rational Doctrine. It's a very nice boost in damage. I wonder what the uptime is with targets that move around. Kelvynn might want to take a look at it.

Changing attributes mastery to int per mastery would give you a small, but free boost in damage.

You could invest into the third tier of amulet (one with %attr, %int and dmg per int).

All in all, your build is pretty nicely built. The rest would be min-maxing, like the simplex amulet.


Thanks for the tip! I went to change the attributes mastery to Int per Mastery to optimize it lol and it did increase it!
The amulet looks really hard to craft (or find) and my current one with added intelligence and global crit strike multiplier was hard to replace, so yeah only the simplex amulet could probably replace it at this moment... (though I'm at like..10 divs now only)

Dropped Discipline for Zealotry for the moment (not bossing...just clearing maps for challenges) since it's 15.6k ES vs 13.5k ES.

Where are you getting your frenzy charges from? Your lupine charm only gives on hit, and we never hit.

What's the deal with the Rational Doctrine jewels? POB doesn't show much of a gain with them.

They provide the above ground effect against enemies, which is pretty strong and a significant DPS boost. If you have one slotted into your build, then make sure "Enemy is on Profane Ground" is toggled on in your PoB config.

We do hit, and we hit a lot. Every icicle hitting is a hit. Not sure why you think we don't hit.
PSA for 3.23 Week 5: Synth Int% rings in the current league at this stage is priced insanely. (I started at week 2 of the league and it was already getting expensive, but boy it's ridiculous now)
