Yup, definitely linked but doesn't work. As I said, if I swap the gem out for a Vaal summon skellys in the same item, it summons them. Swap it back to the Phantasmal skill gem, and no Phantasms. It's really odd, I cannot figure it out.

If I had to guess, it's the fact your gem isn't 20%? Still, odd.

I don't have a non-20q one to test. I assure you it works fine for me. More than fine, did Uber Pinnacle bosses with it.

I have a suspicion that there is a bug with the skill gem and using them as melee skeletons that thinks they are Phantasms. Once I can scrape together enough currency and time, I'll switch to ranged skeletons and test it.

It's very HC viable, though probably less so than a max block Aegis version :)
If going Aegis you stay on the left side of the tree, and you stick with Necromancer, though... Links can be about the same, you just swap the Offering to be Bone Offering.

Ashes isn't always better than a good rare, it depends whether you need the extra Q for your main skill. Mine is just +1 gems, life, res.

My atlas tree changes based on what I need at any given moment, so it' a bit hard to give you just one. Lemme know what you're aiming for and I'll tell you.

Will be making updates for 3.20 after the patch notes.

3.20 Updates:
Elemental Weakness actually helps vs Bosses now!

Either rely on your AG to apply it on hit, or get +1 curse from Anoint/gear/corrupted amulet, and add it on top, for even more DPS :)
