Archnemesis mods are better fit for a Bossing mechanic, not a Mapping mechanic

Relax! GGG has heard your concerns and in a bid to enhance the visibility of the new mods has increased their font size by 50%! Thats not all, each line now twinkles and changes color similar to the much popular rgb mechanic in hardware!

Unfortunately such quality of life must come at a cost since the now enhanced visibility sets behind the design team's goal of slowing down the gameplay. As such they are forced to revert all archnemesis mods to their original state.

The dev team bids you not to panic as they have extensively tested the latest adjustment and given that the sentinel mechanic would not go core, the overall difficulty level should be comparable to 3.18 at start.

Of course this is a guideline rather than a hard promise as these monster adjustments are only a part of the overall 3.19 balance changes...

This may even turn out to be a buff!

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?

Archnemesis now is basically just Essence monsters not frozen and running around the map ready to kill you instantly.

Roll the affixes into the Essence pool, freeze the bastards into place and watch 99% of the player base ignore them and run past.

Or if they are going to keep it in the game, make it a mod that can roll on a map, and more importantly can be blocked like other mods.

Uber players and edge lords can play it all they want, everyone can ignore it and everyone gets what they want.

Better yet, delete it from the game entirely. It was poorly conceived, poorly implemented and very detrimental to the game in general.
Archnemesis Rework is basically a lighter version of what we were talking about here, lads.

1. Rare monster encounters are more rare when challenging (like bosses)
2. Mods can significantly aid rewards based on the difficulty of the rare monster
3. The mods aren't as absurd on Magic monsters, so you don't feel like you're fighting a bunch of mini-bosses

Overall, I'm very optimistic about the new implementation of Archnemesis modifiers. Thank you GGG developers for giving this a deep review and rework!
