Can this please be looked at? It's not like we're asking for monsters to drop loot when killed or to remove the Arch-Nemesis mods that most people really dislike. We're not even asking for you to make the Kalandra Beta league fun.

Snark aside, this really is a big problem for anyone not playing the Beta Test Leagues.

Once upon a time, the map tabs worked great. Now I don't even use Voidstones because of the mess they make every three months, and I have huge piles of unsightly remove only map-tabs that I can't convert and that don't work properly when ran.

Additionally, I can't even buy new map tabs as a stopgap - because the old ones full of broken maps get turned into non-remove-only tabs instead of giving me a fresh tab to throw my 200 T-16 residence maps into.

I do buy things you know. Between my kids and I, we've paid one of your employees wages for about 1/4th a year.

This is a slam dunk here - and you guys need some good PR.

yup, i had to go through like 6 leagues of tabs and every time a section filled up i vendord them for 3-1 to compact them up to the next tier, seems the only way, u can get a tool to "scroll wheel left click" so it isnt a clicking nightmare, but this is basically how i had to deal with it and it took like 2 hours >.<

Yes, and the frustrating part of the story is that many of the map tabs are almost empty. There is plenty of room if the map conversion didn't convert many different map types into just a few type maps. So it's like GGG wants to destroy map variety for some reason that I can't understand.

Perhaps, instead of methodically stripping down your end-game into a glorified KENO machine, or over-tuning your non-pinnacle monsters into roving skull-collectors, some development time could be allocated to fixing broken systems integral to the game.

I was going to ask what the advantage/point of converting maps is, but then I saw this. That's just absurd. The atlas passive tree should apply to all maps regardless of map generation. Yuck.

I waffle on this. I can't decide whether this is a technical limitation of how their new atlas nodes function during map conversion or if they are deliberately weighting the results in some fashion to limit maps with good layouts. Or perhaps it's a combination of these factors.

Someone suggested that the perhaps map conversion process is literally just an Orb of Horizons mass-run on the map-tab, which would explain any weighting and why it can only produce maps on the current atlas.

Regardless, when you go from a well-balanced collection of maps, to suddenly having 72 of one map, 12 of another, 2 completely empty tabs and a new remove only tab full of bricked maps...

...things are not working acceptably.

Allow me to step on my soapbox here for a moment, and mention that there are a LOT of issue like this one in Path of Exile. Unattended problems that have been ignored and left to boil over.

The fan-backlash we're seeing with Kalandra, Arch-Nemesis and the Removal of the League Quantity Bonus is the result of a numerous smaller issues which have been ignored for years.

Like too much snowfall, they pile up, one after another, angering your customers slightly more until something finally causes the entire avalanche to come crashing down. It isn't the inciting incident truly behind the rumbling surge of ice and rocks. It was the neglect that proceeded it - growing until one last snowflake started a failure cascade.

Please learn from this.
