To everyone Complaining about Alt Gems winning>
1) It fits the theme of the card. The artwork is ripping out an item, which gemlings (a type of monster we fight which embed skill gems into themselves) 2) it fits the name: "The Hook" Most Alt-Gems will be of low value depending on the rarity of the card, but there are some that would always be of value (primarily the Auras with Increased effect Quality, Flavor-of-the-league meta Skill. Those two things will likely survive nerfs (because even if Auras get nerfed the default quality is still useless to non-aurabots. where added aura effect literally just makes the aura better and everyone runs at least 1 aura.) Gambling is literally an addiction. Its the first hit of a drug that "Hooks you" into your addiction. Getting that Divergent Determination on your first turn in then getting something like Divergent Siphoning Trap.
