Full Atlas Passive Tree Reveal

Looks pretty good, but I am curious though.

How many new crashes is this going to cause?

How many new graphical errors?

Is it going to fight with item filters and cause more text errors?

I'm not trying to be negative, just realistic.

What we need way more than new content is stability, aka the functioning of the game engine, so people can play the game without issues, and not have their hardware or PC skills blamed for the problems.

When does GGG begin to admit that every issue this game has is usually due to [Removed by Support] and cutting corners to just try and "lure" new players who might potentially buy some tabs or mtx?

When will GGG ever learn that "every" player "matters", free, and supporters, that everyones opinion and ideas are important and considered.

When will GGG re-aquire their company shares back from TenCent, so that they can develope it their way, instead of listening to a company known to ruin games that don't bend to their will? There is much public information if you do a little search about this fact.

When will GGG stop censoring posts that are the truth, just because they don't like them, seems a bit childish? The kind that don't really violate their ToS, but just hurts their feelings or their shareholders.

When will people grow up and do what's right in this world, stop acting like children fighting in a sandbox, and stop being so hell-bent on material posessions(money, and the like), and restore faith in humanity, like people actually care about each other still?

Sorry, I have been wanting to rant for a long time about these things, and I will probably be censored for it, but no matter. It will just prove one thing about the person or persons that moderate these forums.

LOL see what I mean? Censored because it hurt someone at GGG's feelings. Yeah just referring to kids in some sandbox needing thrown out. Very petty guys.

When will players learn that no amount of pre-launch testing can compare to hundreds of thousands of people playing, with hundreds of thousands of different set ups, at once?

Just the sheer amount of them...
It's a quarter of the main passive tree, but for loot!
Any chance for an altas tree builder ?

Imagine a node in that passive tree that reads "100% chance to have content x, content x have 85% less reward".

[Removed by Support] Are you ready to run 10 Delirium maps to get 20 splinters and 1 cluster jewel? I prefer to pay a small price - a scarab, but get loot explosions instead. This is a process of investment and getting profit off it. You invest and juice your maps and the more you do it, the bigger reward you recieve. PoE is a gambling game at its core and every mechanic that goes around it and allows you to do stuff 100% of the time should have downsides or be hard to obtain.
Recieving reward 100% of the time just "because" - go play mobile idlers for that. There's nothing clever in allocating such node, you can just have a button "Drop an exalt" in the game at that point.

Right, I hope the way you play the game is always there for you; but that's what YOU prefer, that's how YOU want to play, you wouldn't choose that option; but I would. You have your reasons, I have mine; there's no point discussing preferences, we'd only agree with selves. (and please, enough slippery slopes, lol.)

But OPTIONS on ours, the players, hands; instead of the devs dictating what we HAVE to do to play the game, is a win for us all, understand...?

This time what I wish was there isn't, while what you want is. But about something else, it may be the other way around. More options benefit us all.

Hell no, some things I liked were removed from the game, but some things I like even more were added later. I hope you understand that GGG can't satisfy everyone, but what they can do is make a game enjoyable by majority of players. And seeing how they're still in business and doing fine while games like Diablo 3 sink to the bottom I'd say they're doing a pretty good job overall.
There are people who would like targeted drops in PoE, or free league mechanics or other stuff, but do they have enough game development experience to justify these changes and guarantee that they won't destroy the game or transform it into something completely different?
What you suggest is a sandbox game, where every player has full control of everything. There's already minecraft for that.
What PoE offering is a challenge. And fun from solving challenge is directly related to how hard it is. Make it too easy - and it's no fun, too hard - no fun again. But you can't adapt challenge for every person. If it's too challenging for you to run scarabs then maybe PoE is not your type of game.
Finally, it is also a phychological problem: it is completely possible that adding free guaranteed stuff will reduce game retention a lot more, as players will easily get what they want, tire of it quickly and leave the game.

will our accumulated dailies stay?
can't wait !!
"Harvest Bosses in Areas always drop a Sacred Blossom"

I had my atlas and everything all set up to farm Harvest in Scourge.

Only once did a Sacred Blossom drop, just once. . .

And it was outside of region. . .

I spent 4-6 weeks trying to farm harvest to craft 1 helmet and then hired lab runner, it took 4-500 runs to get molten strike proj enchant...

I bought up a bunch of bases because I thought I was going to have a vaaling party, besides the random uniques to just vaal before vending, I only double corrupted 2-3 items that were offered up.

Because I was farming harvest/lab enchants to try and craft end game gear for end game content.

I had so many unfinished crafts for my own gear, crafted everything besides claw, chest, and belt, and I wanted to, tried vaaling everything and then getting scourged with something usable. . .

Scourge left a bitter taste and a huge level of disappointment in my mouth.

looked cool, but functionally worked like poo. Would get all the mods you wanted on vendor snacks. It was a lot of "that looks cool, too bad it's not".

I don't mind grinding a week for 1 piece of gear, but 6 weeks for 1 piece.. You don't have enough time in a league to do that for each piece of gear.

I used 3 large clusters, 6 med, and 6 small. Bought only 4 and crafted the rest.

And of course everything I tend to go for has the lowest weight, I'm always "Oh, that's a cool mod" *Looks up weight* "Of course the weight's only 25 or 50".

If I wanted to craft all my gear (which I do) and using that helmet as a comparison for 30 pieces of gear. . . That's 1,260 days for 1 character, doesn't work for a league, and standard sucks for a competitive player.

I wish I could use weapon swap for other than gem leveling, but there's not enough time to grind for weapon switch.

Switching weapons and then auras being turned off doesn't make sense, should just stay on and if anything weapon II ought to be an extension to what you can run. I used to weapon swap all the time in d2.

I'd love to play more than 1 character a league, but it's just not worth the headache.

What gave Diablo II huge replay value (especially in HC) was you could get a character to level 70 in like 45 minutes, then around 85 the xp was crawling and then I'd make a new character. I had like 4 accounts and about half the mules in the second account would get seriously played.

I played Diablo II religiously and when people say PoE is the successor to it, it pisses me off because PoE misses so many benchmarks and standards that Diablo II set. PoE is not the successor to Diablo II, it's a cheap knockoff wannabe, but I would like it to be the Diablo II successor.

We know Blizzard is dead, but with Microsoft acquisition, D IV could bury PoE.

I'm up for hire and am a Critical Think Tanker and every business I've ever worked for has flourished with my blessing and perished with my cursing.
