Fan Art Contest - BETA KEYS AS PRIZES!!!!!!

This was apparently a tough competition. I didn't even place. :'(

I did not place either. So I'll be a good sport and congratulate the winners now. Good work, folks!

So many people including me worked really hard on these Fan-Arts no matter if they had amazing art skills or not :D.

Guy said it would be his personal choices, I personally dont find this better than the winner, not my style of art.

Congratulations to winners! When I was entering contest, I've chosen path with less resistance (brutal category had not many entries). Checked every entry after that hoping none of the best will be in the same category. Know why? Because it is a subjective matter indeed. I like very much, how my work is looking. But also I know, that it is not enough to feel my work is good enough, judge should also feel this way about this artwork. I would not very surprised, if someone else would win (many beautiful works).

Also I thing it would be fair to announce second art contest, or just award top ranks of this contest after some time.

P.S. No offence, but pencil drawn results are strange to me.

I dont get how everyone is saying that this was rigged or fake art (pasted or whatever). Atleast all of the top 4 seem to be hand made and really good.... Ya the choices are based off opinion but still. lol

And to those complaining: An opinion is an opinion. I, for one, did not find the winner of the comedy category to be even remotely funny. It was creative though. But it's not my decision to make. It was all on Mordliss. That's the ones he posted, that's all there is to it. :)

Good evening everyone,

First and foremost, I want to say that I am not sorry for my decisions, or my selections. In my opinion, and in my taste, the winners had the best pieces. Everyone knew the rules going into this contest, and art has been, and will always be, subjective.

With that being said, I have been speaking with Chris, and he has advised me that other keys are planned to be handed out to other individuals that participated, as soon as one of GGG staff has some time to do so. This is excellent news, as several pieces truly deserved keys as well as the 5 winners. I simply only had, 5 keys to give.

It is disheartening that after spending the time to organize this contest for fun and checking back, updating, sorting, and responding to PM's, (investing literally hours, just to provide a fun community contest, and getting nothing in return,so the argument that you spent hours on end for nothing holds no weight) that this is the response.

To the winners, I say again, congratulations, and to everyone that participated I say thanks for making such a community event popular and fun! Every contest has people that don't like the outcome, such is life.

Thanks for listening everyone, this will be my last post regarding this topic.

Well sorry i participated with music to the drawing competition but plaese make also writing and music competitions so more people can strugle in battle for beta keys ..pls. ! :)
