[gamebreaking] HUGE lags in random maps (into d/c's) [COMPILATION]

Been fine all league and all day until now, after killing a couple of packs of monsters my ping goes straight to 4000ms and logs me out.

Octavian0 fixed his issue by swapping his modem.

Don't know if this info is helpful for people having this issue.

I will try connecting myself directly tomorrow and see if it helps at all.

UPD: Entered abyssal depths from the instance above, no issues there. Reconnecting back seems to have fixed the lag. I'm so confused.

I'm mostly playing Standard because I don't like the current league and it's been playable so far. The only thing I've noticed were Map Portals needing about 5-10 seconds to open instead of opening instantly. But as of right now I keep losing connection to realm. Happened twice in 5 minutes so lost 2 Maps and other stuff. And that's in Standard not Scourge. So I played for 10 minutes today and quit.

Something is up and it's worse than it's ever been before, at least for me.

Same, I can't play since days, even trading is laggy.

It's so random, todays it was ok from the morning to mid afternoon, sticking to the casual 32ms I'm use to have in any game here, and but since then it's going yoyo between 60ms to 400ms, sometimes even more.
Also last time I tried to actually play, I got a "server lost connection to the realm" message before getting logged out.

My pings are fine. they rarely peak above 100. it seems more of a data loss issue to me. i havent changed anything on my computer or internet. im using a 3080, 10700k.
Can you please fix it, i dont wanna "play" that way a 5th day.

It's absolutely pathetic. Honestly I've never had so many technical issues with a game over the years as I have with Path of Exile. I've been playing on and off since closed beta and in every single league I play there's an issue. My music is disabled SINCE BETRAYAL LEAGUE, because you lose performance if you turn it on.

Here's the list of how many times the lag spikes happened to me:

DISCONNECTS AND CRASHES (Crashes and lag spikes were happening before I started registering. Lag spike results in freeze for a random amount of time, then you get back with your actions playing in super high speed. If you don’t die, that is. Sometimes you just get booted to main menu)

Yre same for me. This evening us unplayable. horrible lag in maps, continuously deya vu, eroors an erros, cant open the portals, cant pick the inventary items, please look at that!
