Hi, the build seems funny but is capable of doing all content ? sirus and t16 ?
Hey JhonnWisse! I can do all Atlas content with this build. I'll be able to try the 3.16 version of this build when it's released on console, but I could do all the Atlas stuff with it. Yup.

First, thanks for a great guide. Played it for the first time last league, playing again now.

Second, Purity of Fire lost its bump to max fire resist!? I don't think that was in the gem announcements. Thought I'd point that out for anyone else that missed it. Edit: it's there, it just takes a few levels to show up.

Purity of Elements got a nice buff, but at the expense of more mana reserve. Can't just swap it in, unfortunately.
Hey afaiii! Thanks for the kind words! Let me know what you think of the changes from last league to this league! I won't get to touch this build for a few days yet (console release). Nice to have you back :).

Glad you found the answer to Purity of Fire! Nice work.

RF definitely got a boost this round. I used your great RF guide for the first time back during Harvest (your 3.11 build, I believe), and enjoyed it so much I kept playing into standard SSF until level 95. I went with straight RF at the time, opting not to go with Scorching Ray and just always kept on the move.

Instead of immediately doing a league starter for Scourge, I brought that RF character up-to-date with a passive re-spec (following your tree for the most part). With that re-spec, my RF damage (in terms of simple fire damage per second) more than doubled (125%). I have RF on a six-slot, and still keep moving.

I wanted to reset my Atlas before converting any maps, and the character cruised (at a walking pace) through a red corrupted level 13 map I had ready. With that success, I ran a red corrupted level 16 map, and again had no problems. Nice having essentially the entire Atlas unlocked. So the new tree as well as the new RF gem numbers certainly do make a BIG difference. Something to look forward to for those considering end-game later in Scourge.

It does raise the question as to whether the revised RF gem actually does need help for damage. Something to experiment with.

As a side note, I kept cyclone for local movement, which previously had the benefit of triggering Fortify. I have been pondering replacements for Fortify, and I've thrown a Life Gain on Hit in its place for the moment. Defensive suggestions as alternatives to Fortify definitely welcome!

Other minor changes to the 3.11 build: Substituted Void for Ball Lightning (Elemental Equilibrium no longer being a factor). Still using the Stone Golem (helm has the 150% increased stone golem buff) and Holy Relic, but will be looking at Skitterbots in its place. I don't think I'll need both for regen with the new re-spec.
Oh, that's awesome feedback, Scirocco_! Thanks you! I've been dying to try out my changes but I have to wait for console. So I'm really glad you took the time to try out the changes and give them a good walk-around. Thanks for taking the time to, not only do the respec and test, but also give a nice post about it. THank you!

Can you recommend some actual flasks for the build? instead of 3 life flasks I mean come on dude
You bet I could, dude. But it wouldn't be too helpful. In the guide, though it's easy to miss cause it's in the Dream Mods section, I said,
"Flasks:
- I'll get back to you after playing around with 3.16 for a bit."

Flask mods and durations changed a lot this league. I'm excited to try them out when it's released (on console).

In the meantime, why don't you try 1 life flask and 4 Ruby Flasks. Have the 4 Ruby Flasks set to trigger when you're impacted by each typical ailment (Burning, Freeze, Shock, Poison).

Flasks are really about personal feel though. You'll want to use what keep you alive for sure. Quartz flasks are life savers for me.

Hi, nice build, tried one of your minion builds in a previous league. Just a question reguarding the CwDT - Void Sphere - Hextouch - Flammability link: Flammability will be cast aoutomatically from CwDT, so is Hextouch even necessary? Or what am i missing here? :-)
Hey Zarmal! Hextouch makes it so that the low-level CwDT can cast on a high-level curse (therefore stronger). Even though Void Sphere only goes off once every 10 seconds, we want it going off as soon as possible after the cooldown is finished. So that gets accomplished with a Low level CwDT. Then, it's technically Void Sphere that's casting the curse, not CwDT. And that's where Hextouch links the spell and the curse.

That makes sense to in my head...does it make sense to you?

Without Hextouch, Flammability would need to be gem level 5 (or something like that).

And thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you like the last build. Hopefully, this one treats you well.

Not sure if it's been asked, but why burning damage support for rf? It doesn't seem to affect it according to the in-game tooltip.

Burning Damage Support: Supports any skill that hits enemies, or can deal burning damage directly.
Righteous Fire: Righteous Fire is a spell that applies a buff on the player, rapidly burning the player and nearby enemies. The damage it deals scales with your Life and Energy Shield amount. It also grants more spell damage to the user while active.

As i see it, it should work as RF is dealing burn damage directly?
Good answer Zarmal!

Hey LaserSaysPew! So, the problem isn't you, it's the game. True story. The tooltip in the game is garbage. It doesn't help, DOT or minion builds AT ALL. It's pretty sad.

But yes, Burning Damage Support does work with RF. Zarmal answered well.

Managed to sustain RF at L49 in early Act 6 with only the first ascendancy after getting the last regen node :-)

I didn't even have Purity of Fire on, but did have Stone Golem (L6, 49 life regen) and Vitality (L12, 78 life regen) active.

Fell back to non-RF again since the damage in nightmares was not manageable, but I think this is the earliest I've ever been able to get RF 'working'. I had no supports on RF (this was just a test run), but it still cleared fairly well.

The problem with RF builds in the past has often been that it was a struggle to get to the point where you could safely transition. Often it required being able to use Rise of the Phoenix or Saffell's Frame, but by then your damage without RF was really struggling. That problem is mostly gone now :-)

Nice work! That's nice and early! Good job. And without PoF!

Don't worry about it at all. We have our days. Thanks for being so honest about it! That's really big of you :). I didn't mean to be brash either. I don't play HC but I still am not a fan of dying. After I've played around with it I'll let everyone know that I've updated the flasks. Good luck in HC!
