Still leveling my Occultist throught the later acts but damm Infernal Skitterbots is a a fun build, planning on combining it with spiders once i get a level up to equip the gear i need.

If you are having mana problems, use a Conqueror’s Efficiency from Act 8. Gear, Gems Links & Flasks
GENERAL Here is an overview of the gear, including gems, links and examples. Overall, the priority is to get the highest life mod on all items. You can self-craft this using Essence of Greed. Also make sure you have 75% elemental resistance, and positive chaos resistance. Lastly, I recommend getting gear that has armour and energy shield. This will make colouring the sockets much easier because almost every gem is red or blue. HELMET For the helmet, I recommend reservation efficiency and cast speed. You can also try to get +2 to all minion gems. The gems are: Raise Spectre, Carrion Golem, Meat Shield and Increased Duration. BODY For the body armour, I recommend chance to block spells and increased offering effect. Use the crafting bench to add ‘increased maximum life and mana’. The gems are: Summon Raging Spirit, Unleash, Minion Damage, Predator, Melee Splash and Fire Penetration. You can swap Melee Splash to Multistrike if you need more single target DPS. GLOVES For the gloves, I recommend fire exposure and increased minion damage. You can craft Minion Damage with an Essence of Fear. The gems are: Determination, Tempest Shield and Flammability. The 4th socket is free in the league starter. BOOTS For the boots, I recommend avoid being poisoned and Scorched Ground. The gems are: Anger, Generosity, Convocation and Flame Dash. WEAPON You can use an Essence of Fear to craft your starting wand. Then upgrade to a wand with: +1 to all spells or +1 to minion spells. The gems: Desecrate, Flesh Offering and Life Tap. The special craft “trigger a socketed spell” will auto-cast the socketed gems. You can get it from unveiling weapons from Syndicate encounters. SHIELD For your shield, look for +1 to all Fire Spells. The gems are: Cast when Damage Taken linked to Frost Wall. And unlinked Molten Shell. I keep my Cast when Damage Taken at level 4 and Frost Wall at level 12. AMULET & RINGS Use your amulet and rings to get as much life and resistance as possible. You will also need to craft “Non-Channelling Skills have -7 to Total Mana Cost”. And anoint your amulet with Arcane Guardian for extra spell block. BELT For the belt, use a good leather belt or a stygian vise with a ghastly eye jewel. Infernal Skitterbots is definedly the most fun build i have played in this game, especially after I got to level 60 and could equipt the items i needed to add Poison Spiders into the mix.
Im only just starting act 10, but the game play feels so dang so mooth thus far. The bots just speed ahead killing most enemies and then rares with high hp and bosses just get eaten alive by the spiders. "An it harm none, do what you will"

" SRS is a very "clunky" skill IMO... Until they change how it works I will never play a build focused around it. |
