Lancing Steel + The Saviour crashes

" I just ran two new tests. Basically the same type as in my previous message using the boss in Hallowed Ground while he was still invulnerable. My first test was with the sound disabled. I pounded on him for a couple of minutes and never had any disconnects. I did have a little performance lag at one point but it didn't disconnect me. I did a second test with sound back on. I pounded on the boss for a couple of minutes. The sound got choppy after a bit. When I disengaged the boss, it seemed like the sound was still catching up for a good 30 seconds. Eventually it did and I went back and pounded him some more. I eventually got disconnected, but it took far more time and effort than in the tests that I did the other day. I do want to state that when I launched it the first time today, I did get a PoE client auto-update, so I'm guessing that changed something from a performance standpoint (took a lot more effort to force the disconnect). From a sound standpoint, not much changed. |

I really don't like how the GGG staff member asks if we have any problem with the sound as it is mentioned in post #1. Nothing has been done in over a week.
If the problem is not clear i guess they didn't read the thread. |

Yeah, it is a bit discouraging. I have to intentionally weaken and cut off the progression of my build and I'm not sure whether I'll ever be able to upgrade it.

Yeah same for me, as soon as i put the sniper mark the sound lagg sooo bad it keeps laging about 5 8 sec after the boss is dead (weirdly i dont have fps drop, just the sound lags)

A fun build, but because of this problem it cannot be enjoyed against bosses. Fix it please. |

Can't kill any big boss without big freezes and crash each 2 bosses, i invested so much in the build i like it and i would like to enjoy it, hope the fix comes soon.

This still happens with Shattering Steel, albeit more rarely. Not sure about Lancing

I just ran another test after today's patch which, according to the notes, addresses the issue that we have been discussing.
I'm happy to report good news. I tried to force another disconnect the same way I was doing in previous posts but the connection held. The sound didn't stutter, but at a couple of points, I did see a visual stutter, although it was very brief and quickly resumed working as expected. Thank you for resolving this! |
