That's just blaming the user.

In another words: "We don't want to deal with improving the engine for lower end users, so if you're having a problem, better just upgrade your setup."

Come on, really?!

it's not blaming the user, it's saying "you're running a resolution on your display that's too high for your toaster and if you're not willing to reduce that here is how you can get it going" ...

yep. makes more sense to upgrade your rig to run poe when poe is the only game that has these issues. so it must be the end user's rig that's the problem.

i mean, if your game engine is inhouse made, and made badly at that, then it can't be the engine that's the problem.

a comment made earlier about having to load all the crap mtx that you might run into if you see other players has nothing to do with it either. would be nice if you could turn all that garbage off as it has no impact on playing the game other than to have more bling in an already bling bloated environment and also for them to have the "look what i have and how much money i spend" look to them. some look at it and just walk away shaking their head totally unimpressed.
poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead

Your reply is bs. As I've said in a previous post, and many others have similar experience, often the rig isn't the issue.

I can play beautiful, complex, open world triple a games with complex ai, just fine on max settings with a stable 70 fps.

Yet poe with its ancient graphics, you get drops to 20 on a juiced map, or even better, the game crashes if you accidentally press alt. Rofl....

My pc isn't the issue....

you bought AMD lmao

Unlucky for you to be stuck in 2015 where you "think" intel is better single-thread LOL

"my pc can play a game with min 60fps just fine that uses a highly specialised engine which is licensed under the penalty of a vendor lock in and license fees by a multi billion dollar worth company."

yes. that may be the case.

in 10 years of poe, my game never crashed when i pressed alt. and i never had the highest hardware.

Well good news maybe ?

Seriously with an Asus ROG MB, 32GB of G.SKILL RIPJAWS ram, an i5 7600K and a 2070, and a win 10 pro, i don't see where the botleneck could be on my end...

We will see how it is going with those new graphs... Only this game runs poorly...

CPU 4x core must be your bottleneck

So i just bought new laptop with rtx 3060 with highest voltage avaible and 8 core ryzen 7 5800h, game still runs like shit. GPU is chilling around 30% usage while CPU have 25-70% spikes. Nvme disk and fastest ram avaible for my laptop shouldnt be a problem too.... Its all about their code and optimalization. Almost every other game is running at stable high fps while in PoE sometimes its slide show. Fun fact for me its no difference between low settings/max settings results are almost the same :P

"gaming laptop" lmao

A potato is still a potato even if you paid $3000 for it

Except pretty much nobody is GPU-bound on PoE, most people are CPU-bound...
I could play at 480p and my FPS would not move

or maybe they are saying: "We have already optimized it all that we are able too for low end users and all the shity machines out there, so if you are maxing out then seriously, you really need to upgrade... atleast if you want to enjoy playing our game" :)

Well maybe not in my direct tone, but you get the gist of it... It's for helping people, not taunting them.

Thats horseshit reasoning. Im running a $1200 self built Ryzen 5. I can play every game ultra with 120fps no stuttering.

The instant I hit a strongbox in a Delirium map I go down to 1-2 fps and i get to watch a slideshow of myself dying.

All the "tool" has told me is that I can't do shit to fix this issue. Every bar stays under 100ms, most under 25ms.

Shader bar maxes out, but I just tested my SSD and im still over 500mb/s so this isn't on the user. This is on GGG
"
If the Shaders bar alerts you about shader loading/saving being critically slow, consider changing what the drive that shader cache is stored on to a faster one.

I have an SSD that's half empty. Shader bar maximizes when the stutters/freezes happen. What gives? This is kinda cringy GGG.
