Leagues dumping into standard is unhealthy for leagues

Given that, according to the devs, most players never engage in trade, and only about 10% engage in more than a few trades, screwing the overwhelming majority of the player base for the sake of this issue, if there it really is one, would be very unhealthy for the game. I'd say game's health trumps trade economy health.

So since dumping to Standard influences the market to age toward being in-line with Standard's market: items shouldn't dump to Standard. So instead of approaching their Standard value everything just approaches... zero value. And this is supposed to be an improvement? <insert dumbfounded Jackie Chan meme>
