You're more of an expert on SSF than I, for sure

First time I play SSF, so probably not =)

And you can craft rank 3 single resist onto your belt, use Harvest to roll it into another resist, and then craft more resistances on afterward.

Are you sure about that ?
I tried : rank 3 lightning -> harvest lightning to cold (I had one saved). Now my belt simply have a "crafted" cold resist so I cannot add more. Did I miss something ?

EDIT :
Crafted a not really good ring but still better that the one I had, added res to one scepter, I'm now at 69% all res (75% with endurance charges so, enough). Thanks for your help !

Whata bout awakened spell cascade ? Does the build benefit from it ?

Hi,

Crown of the inward Eye with a Blade Blast inc AoE effect has less boss DPS than with Arcane Cloak enchant. Why does OP do this?

Thanks
Inc AOE doesn't show it's DPS increase in POB, because it's based on more blade explosions being in the larger radius.

It also leaves a larger pool of mana for MOM to pull from after you cast Cloak.

No. We want more AOE on BladeBlast, and less on BladeFall.

I played the Chieftain BFBB last league and Awakened Spell Cascade was highly recommended in the build guide, even at its large expense. I used it and found it excellent, it really made a large difference for me. Here was the comment in the build guide that suggested the change:

"A very big upgrade for this build is Awakened spell cascade. It allows you to drop 25 blades per cast when your spamming since unleash is on cooldown. It is like a 30% more damage doing most bosses, and also improves map clear a lot. It is expensive. but defiantly a thing to aim for. I first got mine around half way through lvl 99, and regret I didn't spend the currency earlier."

=======================

That being said, I will also acknowledge that there are many people who say the Awakened Version is worse. Maybe it comes down to the fact that the Raider version can not spam due to mana issues where the old Chieftain version could spam.....I have no idea really.

One thing many don't understand about Awakened Cascade is that it does not really make the AOE greater per say, it more changes how the blades fall. They don't fall just in front and behind, they fall in a square pattern using the sides as well as the front and back.

Hmmm... interesting. I'd never spotted the description difference between the two before. Another thing to allocate some currency to for testing!

Let us know what you think after you test.

Pretty much every one who used it last league loved it but as I mentioned that was a different BFBB build so it may not work as well in this one due to mana issues.
Hello,
Is a lvl 21 23% Conc on BF even useful anymore? It gives 30% less aoe on any level or quality and the damage increase to BF is pretty low in comparison to BB damage

It'll be a while yet, I suspect. I've been spending currency as I make it to improve the build, and sales from this league are seriously odd. :)

I still need some alternate quality gems and an Unnatural Instinct, which is likely going to chew through my currency generation for the next while.

Looking for help especially for someone good at SSF guidance and how to go after things. Recently came back to the game and decided to just stick to SSF standard given my limited time and having a collection of some things.

This build is performing decently well for me in the early stages but the main things I'm struggling with is mana regen. Since I'm in standard I've been able to jump into some higher level content where I am feeling the damage be lackluster with what I have and quickly running out of mana and then sitting there stuck. I am not sure if this is purely mechanical from not hitting cloak/sigil enough and overspamming other things or just bad gear.

Things I know I need:
-boot enchant for mana regen (i want a better pair first)
-more levels to path to left side of try
-crown + helm enchant
-improved rares (weapons/belt/gloves/jewels/shield?)

Any insight would help, like I said, the more geared for how I should try approaching things in SSF the better since I still have never done much with crafting or targeting certain upgrades. Usually just an alch and go with whatever map person.
