The Truth about Albino Rhoa Feathers

how about the prophecy that gives a unique item when 5 unique items sold together perhaps:

Albino Rhoa Feather, Fishing Rod, Fairgraves' Tricorne, Slitherpinch

and ?????

PROFIT?

Edit: actually i think i have figured it out: in diablo 2 they had the mini game the stone of soj where so many soj's were becoming duped (eternal orb reference?) they put in a mini game during this mini game 100's to 1000's of soj's were sold on the server to spawn Uber Diablo in a specific place in this case the soj's are either feathers or something to do with the eternal orbs and tricornes used which instead of diablo spawn Krillson. players that have took the time to farm up a fishing rod can exchange or use this to fish for a unique like in diablo 2 where the unique was a item that was basically OP. its obviously not all in the right order but i think im onto something with my theory. with what people were saying they dont have enough currency to use the feathers or rods makes me think they need 100s to 1000s. once krillson spawns you use the fishing rod on him maybe trade him i dont know? kill him with it? go fishing with him? no one knows yet because no ones sold enough feathers on the server

There were some attempts a few years back to vendor numerous feathers at the same time, but nothing came out of it.

Seeing as the D2 cow level was opened up by transmuting a town portal book and Wirt's leg in the Horadric cube - perhaps the Fishing Hole is opened up by vendoring a stack of Rhoa Feathers, a Portal gem and Fairgraves Tricorn.

Spoiler
Alternatively, it could require socketing the Portal gem in the Tricorne, or 3 supports + portal (R+G+B+Portal) socketed in the tricorn, or four portal gems socketed in the Tricorne - and only one feather, or a stack of feathers.

I've only found the Albino Rhoa three times, so I can't test it out myself.

I´m surprised no one found out the true use for the feathers...
If you collect 15000 of them you can build your own albino Rhoa statue for your hideout. But you need to farm them yourself.

Good luck with that.
Im currently trying to collect :p
65 pages.. GGG doesn't balance very well at all but they can certainly troll.
Isnt there a unique fishing rod? Maybe it has something to do with that?
Maybe Angler's Plait, the fishing unique has something to do with it?
The most important thing is to find out the triggers.

If you find for example Krillson or an Anglers Plait and you want to help finding out something:

- Make a screenshot where you found it
- write which monster dropped it
- write the area where it dropped
- make a list (or screenshots) of ALL items you use with stats (and gems!)
- make a Screenshot of your character (Offence, defense, misc, charges)

Everybody is always looking to items, but it can be something like:
You need x all resist and 3 times of it the armor and 4 times of it the evasion or something strange like that. Without the knowledge of the stats we will never find it out.
i was boring while on studies and i found something like that

The rhoa is based on the real-world moa, a large flightless bird native to New Zealand and now extinct. Their name is a combination of "rhino" and "moa".

so i went to wikipedia when:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moa

and i looked at hyperlink to

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haast%27s_eagle

from wiki we know Haast eagles hunt for Moas

and next to:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julius_von_Haast

and we know Haast as Beyond unique monster :D

idk where is this going but... who knows maybe we can discover recipe of rhoe feather by get to know about lore of New Zeland :D (cause POE is in New Zeland's environment climate :D)

I found a recipe some days ago that allows you to fully link any item.

You need to trade
- 1 x Feather
- 1 item with max sockets that is not yet fully linked
- and 2 more ingredients (those are not currency items)
to the vendor.
The vendor will then give you back the fully linked item.

Good luck

Sounds plausible. Also sounds like a wild goose chase. Pic of the vendor would typically be shown.
