No, it's a good question. Most things do die in 1-2 hits. However, the truly dangerous things don't, and this makes them a non-issue. Also, when there's large packs, the Freeze Proliferation from the Cluster Jewel feels amazing.

Basically, the situations where you'd normally be in any danger, stop existing. It's not all that much of an investment, either, it's basically the helmet and 2-3 cluster jewel notables, since the rest is amazing for any Arc Miner.

And yes, Freezing bosses is a good part of the reason this is fun :)

Miners aren't known to be super tanky, while this one barely ever dies.

Also, PORCUPINES / ON DEATH effects are just gone.

I'm a bit sad that there's no herald of ice or thunder. Just bought a sweet mtx and now i'm gonna play a build without feelsbadman

We should have an option to have pretty on-death effects even on builds like this. Summoners, too.

You can use them to get a tiny amount of flat damage, but the on-kill effect simply doesn't trigger when Mines kill. So, no, not worth using at all.

You are "just" an Arc Miner until you get it, which can still do all content. Good thing it's not rare, even in ssf. I think I dropped 30 of them last league.

In trade it's a 1c unique.

I considered using Skitterbots here. It is worth it for early leveling/mapping instead of using zealotry cause i will min-max is later?
