Development Manifesto: Harvest Crafting

Or in other words: You have no fucking clue what you are doing. As if you cared what frustrates players or what systems are redundant. Your whole game is based on frustration and bloated messes. It sounds more like you guys have been sniffing too many Magic Boosters.
Like the guy who said this:
"
"We don't want to take away the feeling of closing your eyes and Exalting an item, scared to see whether you ruined it or not."

But at least you burned Oshabi with it, what a useless encounter.

This change is the end of an journey, for me it's over. Have fun with your 10% of reddit players and streamers.
Removing those crafts? Terrible
It's reasonable to think that Harvest is a bit too reliable. But with the state you intend to leave it in for 3.14, you're probably just better off removing it entirely.
I didn't care much for harvest league, quit early. I did kinda enjoy Ritual league and its take on harvest a good bit, but this is coming from someone that play PoE for two weeks like it's a part-time job and I didn't even mess with the end game crafting that much. Made a mirror tier pair of gloves, some boots and thats about it, with exalts that the average player doesn't get to see through their entire 3-month period of playing said league at their own pace.

You could've just moved the league to SSF or doubled down on ensuring trades can't happen by making crafted items account-bound, but instead you made the entire thing worthless.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.
a total joke

what took educated players 5 seconds to understand took GGGT two entire leagues.

harvest is bullshit OP

this is just more proof that GGGT have no fucking clue...

and the solutions offered (especially from an SSF point of view): ridiculous....

and because of the stupid way you gave ppl too much power you now have to suffer from all the ppl crying about u taking it away again - twice....absolutely moronic way of handling things.

I really hope at some point they realize players like pathways to get powerful that aren't just gambling. Back to a tiny portion of the player base making all the items I guess.

GGG basically just turns most of us into currency farmers for the people who don't mind spending hours gambling items into something useful. This system has always been broken for 99% of the player base.

Harvest crafting is fun. The problem with everything in this game is that you guys refuse to design a better trade system. It's palpably ironic that you would say the problem is using an outside system to succeed is the problem considering that's been a requirement in POE since beta to be proficient and efficient at the game on so many levels. How is that a problem now? If you don't like it design something that allows us to get out of constantly being required to use outside systems to exchange items effectively, price check things while in game, etc.
Players: We love Harvest but want more than the pitiful 10 storage capacity.

GGG: Yo we hear you like Harvest so we're going to completely ruin it and nerf it into oblivion so it becomes 'just another bloat content' you will skip over.

...........and you wonder why players hate the game. When players hate the game, we don't buy anything, ever anymore.

RIP harvest. Crap change for an SSF player. As predicted the issue was ppl trading for crafts. Instead of countering deterministic crafting by introducing more mods they choose the easy route by makeing it useless. Harvest now produces the same crap 99.9% items that drop anyway and no one bothers to pick up.
