For now, that is not the case, although I would have to give it another whirl, since the last one was ages and patches ago, but then I default back to PoE, play a map or two and then stop and do something else. I don't think anyone is saying "I hope it sucks". We're just tired of the weekly post about how wonderful it is. It's not even. It's got a long way to go, and they've been milking it for about four years now.

Imho it could have been a decent title if they had chosen a proper engine and invested a bit on technical skills. It will probably never get a full release, and it will probably never be better than what it is right now, the game is at the edge of its engine since its release.

The author lost all credibiity already calling Diablo 2 resurrected the next big thing. If a 20 year old game with just a new skin gets you hyped like this then PoE might just not be in your wheelhouse at all, no wonder you think other games are better then.
