Just google'd "POE freeze cant end task" and got me here, apparently after years of staff replying they were finding a fix, it still happens to me. I am a new poe player that got back after 10 years and i am really into the game now.


I couldnt end task POE or do anything but to force hard restart my computer. happened to me 3-4 times today. this is crazy

Its gonna kill the PC one day. Any staff still here responding to this issue? any solution?


Ryzen 3600 and RTX 2070 Super ,i should be able to play this game without issue..

Bump. This same issue has happened to me twice so far today, both times in heists. One of two is a loading screen.

Edit: upon observation in task manager, its memory usage is slowly ticking up as well.

this happens to me as well sometimes. no chance of closing poe or restarting/turning of the pc. only hard reset works...

this happened to me trice today. Closing the session works but computer gets somewhat slower. New computer btw. I think its silly win11

Same. Would be nice if you could atleast not force pc to restart after each crash. Have like 4-5 a day.

Same issiue here after last patch. Only way out is to close Windows session.

I delete and reinstall my poe every league cuz the game gets bigger in the hdd somehow...(last time I deleted it was around 54gb)

Just happened to me except this time PoE did close. I haven't crashed in years, not since the update on Thursday. I'm about to take a break and troubleshoot this, I'm becoming worried this won't be an easy fix...makes no sense
