Texture loading on every zone + constant stuttering.

Still nothing LMAO and to think whale_ggg gets paid six figures.
As I am attempting to fix the issue, it's getting laggier and laggier--slowly loading textures, such as armor/weapons on players, making them look like clay molds with no detail. This has never been an issue before, ever.

I joined another instance, and it terminated my game. This has never happened before--and has actually gotten worse since I reinstalled the game. The lag is infuriating, especially with my PC specs being way more than needed, in every aspect. It also never used to crash me from joining a town, but now it does...

It lags or stutters every time I do something new, in a new area. Or rejoin an area. Or see new things, whether it's inanimate or animate. Then it kind of stops, but restarts again in a new area or a rejoined area, as if it is downloading in real-time while I am playing. As if it's being parsed. It's almost as if I am re-downloading textures or graphics in real-time, each time I see them. Unplayable in this form.

From reading the upcoming Patch Notes, it looks like the "fix" will either be at the end of the week or next week when it is released.
Same issue here, RTX 2080 Ti, 9900k, 32 GB RAM and game on NVMe SSD.
Tried deleting shader caches and minimap caches and then revalidated Steam installation. Still same slow-loading texture issue as described by all the posters in this thread.

The new nvidia driver did help a bit, in my case that is. The driver appeared yesterday on the 26'th. I still get shitty loading textures at the beginning, but mapping is a bit smoother on the 64bit client.

The patch notes so far are a joke.

"Texture streaming has been updated to lessen CPU usage and improve overall performance on weaker systems"

As if only people who play on a pentium mmx machine are complaining or something, as if this isn't an enormous issue, affecting a lot of people, having the latest from both intel and amd cpu's, having both radeon and nvidia gpus.

My Current 3080 system struggles with this texture streaming. So much I've ended up skipping this league.
First league where I am finding a tonne of issues with assets loadings ect.

2080 here, same deal. I just lagged out twice zoning into maps. It seems like a good league, to bad they ruined it.

Hello exiles, apologies for the delayed response. If you are experiencing this issue, there have been some reports that deleting the contents of your My Documents/My Games/Path of Exile folder can help.

**PLEASE NOTE: If you have any local filters, you must back them up before deleting this folder, as it will also delete any filters you have saved locally!**

If this doesn't help alleviate the issue, please let us know at techsupport@grindinggear.com and we'll gladly assist you further :)

I deleted this entire folder AND re-installed Path of Exile from scratch including deleting all the garbage you guys leave behind on peoples computers when they uninstall your game... My FPS problems only got worse after doing all of this.
Hopefully they just revert this streaming textures garbo. Seems to be the issue for tons of us.
Its literally the same, if not worse.

LET US DISABLE IT. Period.
No one cares about standard. It's literally a recycle bin, just press empty.
