He's using Hatred because of this mod: "You and nearby allies gain (16-25)% of Physical Damage as Extra Cold Damage", which is further added as chaos due to Atziri's Promise.

Wrath doesn't work since it grants more Spell Lightning Damage, which does nothing for ignite (spell damage is irrelevant to ignite).

We're abusing the new elementalist "Shaper of Flames" node, where all damage can ignite. This means we can ignite not only with fire, but also cold, lightning, physical and chaos. Divine Ire is the perfect skill to abuse this interaction since it's a spell with base physical damage, half of which is then converted to lightning. So Hatred will grant extra phys damage as cold, and then Atziri's Promise will further give us 20% of physical damage as Extra Chaos Damage and 15% of Elemental Damage (coming both from the base Divine Ire conversion and from bonus Hatred damage) as Extra Chaos Damage. This results in stupid bonkers damage.

Doesn't ignite work off of the biggest hit? If you convert half of the damage, you are hitting X amount with phys and X amount with lightning, if you have more spell damage the lightning will be bigger and the ignite will only be based on the lightning damage, not any of the phy or cold. Right?

No, not really. Divine Ire (and any skill with conversion/"added as" mechanics) hits with all damage types combined. So your hit will consist of, as the case may be, phys, cold, lightning, fire and/or chaos damage which are added to one another and make for one humongous hit which constitutes the base for calculating ignite damage.

So I took a look around and it seems there is no extremely strong notable to annoint really.

Opinions on annointing Charisma and then throw in aspect of the spider? It has pretty nice synergy with the build, both defensively and offensively.

This has the potential to be broken build of this league. Will keep an eye on this.

Good to league start with?
First time specing an elemental build
Do Stormfire ring would be an alternative of Shaper of Flame node ?

So maybe we can respect SoF into Bastion of Elements for another more defensive option ?

this could be an option if you manage to get 100% chance to ignite from any scource and remember for stormfire you need lvl 80

You will lose a lot of damage, since then only lightning damage could ignite. So all the cold and chaos damage from Hatred and flasks would fall away.

But sure, the option exists, although I would say it is not remotely worth it.

Yes, because absolutely no special gear is needed, and even with no gear at all the damage is very high already.
