Hi,

I have a question,I just got Lioneye's Glare and dropped Resoulte technique.
Is it still worth going up to static shock, since I can crit now, or is it better to refund those points and go crit multiplyers?

Also what are good unique items to go for with this build?

I am also wondering how lightning arrow behaves with projectile weakens + chain. I know Pierce has priority but I am wondering for the additional 3 jumps from lightning arrow, are they affected by Pierce hitting primary target or do they chain?

Thanks for your answer.

Im still new so take this with a grain of salt:
I would still go to static shock, shock is nice the the hp+chaos res node is right next to it and the only node i found that also gives chaos res is over by the mage side that gives +12% so they are good to get. I would still use pierce then you can mainly use the enfeeble curse and with pierce you will ''hit'' more mobs and use the life gain on hit support gem as the heal is instant and life leech seems to me more of a regen. iv been almost dead an hit a big mob with LA and with 2 shots was full hp again. If you dont care about that just cheak dps or test it out on a few farming runs and see what works better for you.
Was wondering if any more experienced players could comment on my skill tree thus far?

I've been following the guide fairly strictly, but i'm simply unsure where to go from here as i've reached a crossroads of sorts. Should I be going for the elemental stuff in the templar area? A question related to this is, would swinging down for the endurance charge be a bad move, considering i'm level 71 and about to begin mapping?

OR... should i head towards aspect of the eagle? ... or maybe the Duelist projectile/evasion/armor/movespeed/attackspeed stuff? Thanks.

I'm using this build as my 1st ever Nemesis build.

So far so good, I'm currently just after Cruel Docks farming @lvl 50, 2200 HP and resists almost maxed. Was terrified facing Dominus after in Domination haven't managed to kill him without dying few times, but I made him my bitch, it was so easy it wasn't funny.

I also got my hands on a Chain gem, probably planning to stick with Pierce until I get Static Blows, I dunno which will be better: Chain or Pierce, in the meanwhile Pierce is significantly better.

I'm using my Frenzy with Faster Attacks, Life Gain on Hit, and interestingly Blind. I put there Blind because I didn't had other support gem and I'm starved on currency after buying a decent lvl 47 bow. It has an hilarious effect. When I'm facing a rare, it gets blinded. Because I also use Cast on Damage taken with Decoy Totem, the totem is triggered, the rare attacks it and can't hit it because he's blinded, so the totem becomes an effective tank.

What I'm struggling against are Corrupted Blood rare mobs, the DPS of Frenzy seems to rely on high attack speed rather than powerful burst damage, so I get many stacks on me quick and I have to inch my way for a kill, making taking on rares with some form of life regen almost impossible to kill.

I finally got a 6S/5L Bow and 5L Armor, using following Gems:

Bow:
Lightning Arrow -> Life Leech -> Chain -> LMP -> Weapon ele damage
and a Temporal Chains Gem

Armor:
Frenzy -> Added Fire -> Life Leech -> Faster Attacks -> Weapon ele damage

Would you recommend on switching the Weapon ele damage gem in the bow for a faster attacks gem?
Needs change of socketcolour (now 3green->2red - 1green).

I'm at the end of Act3 Merciless now with lvl 70 - but couldn't manage to kill Piety yet. Ele-Resists are maxed, while chaos is -48%. Trying to get some better gear to boost my damage and chaos resists.
Is it still viable to run elemental hit instead of frenzy?
Is this just as viable?

Hi ... I read all the thread long and first of all: compliments and thanks. Really.
I'm enjoying the game much more after some wrong experiments.

One question: are all the gems to be experienced till level 20 ? (besides the defensive procs you wrote about).
Aren't there any troubles with prerequisite such str/intellect or dex on the long?
Thank you again and keep on the good work

Defensive Procs

CoDT is still a very powerful, almost free defensive buff. You just have to find a middle point where the skills are levelled enough and the proc still goes off in time.

The sweet spot I have found (so far) is:

Cast on Damage Taken @LVL4
- Enduring Cry @LVL7
- Decoy Totem @LVL9
- Molten Shell @LVL9

When you take 620 damage you get a free decoy totem distraction, 400 armor for fee and several free endurance charges :)

IS there no point in leveling these more and making them more pwerfull? is there any other sweetspots that i can use? or is this where the gems should stay?

Ty for reply!
I think your intell ends up at 114? You wont be able to level past that. Be careful with gear when leveling your blue gems
Hello guys, I was wondering if this build is still good for Ranger. Look at my gear:

Spoiler

I ask this because I had many problems to get in Hedge Maze at lvl 65, my defenses are: armor 3600, F 75%, I 75%, L 73%, C 13%. With these defenses took too much damage from mobs. I know my bow is not very good, but I figured the defense would give to play.

I'm afraid to go to Lunaris.

Thanks.
