the best melee skill is heavy strike, on kitava's feast.

Nerfing that wonderful axe was unfair it should be a 700dps weapon for madlads.

Nothing wrong, i dont have fun with it after mechanical changes to skills. You try to make a build with those skills, your brain goes it should play like this and it doesn't.
2.6 or 2.7 after release they introduced the less aoe mod on maps, you had not only a worse skill version but also reroll more maps.

Yes, KMQ's Reave build is quite nice. Also very scalable. A new player with almost no budget can have a lot of fun getting into red maps and early end content. Or you can spend almost any amount from 5 ex to 500 ex and it just keeps getting better. Clusters are a nice add, but he has a no-cluster version as well. Very flexible all around, and fine for any skill level and any level of build experience.

AFAIK changes to how it targets enemies basically killed the skill. It's mostly used as a General's Cry build now.

Never tried Heavy Strike myself back when Kitava's Feast was still strong. But the mods on that axe looks pretty darn cool if not for the nerf.
