3.13 Launch Delayed until January

I think this is bad.
You would not have delayed for shadowlands either now this?
Me and alot of other ppl I know that play this game alot always have the holidays of and nolife poe hard.
Sure if its not ready delay but that should be the reason.

I'm good with more polish but making this desicion based on another game release?

Flashback events never keep me interested past 1 week tbh.

Just a bummer for me from all perspectives besides polish which judging from your post you will not even put into this expansion but rather develope the next league? Cmon ppl alteast polish this as much as you guys can this time.

Path of exile is a Business, If they feel a game launching at the same time would affect their bottom line then thats their call.

MORE MONEY = PATH OF EXILE 2 GETS MADE.

NO MONEY = KISS PATH OF EXILE GOODBYE.

Its simple, why are you all reacting on emotion and not with logic.

Business need money. Launching alongside another big product, reduces your chance of profiting on a league launch. Delay league launch, more polish, stronger profit for the league (and better MTX). Honestly all of you need to get your heads out of your ass and grow up.

This is a huge one for GGG, streamers like Cohhcarnage, Itmejp, Dansgaming, shit maybe even Lirik again and more will be streaming cyberpunk not poe. Cohh himself prob averages 10-15k viewers for anything he's playing, I'm willing to bet he pulls 50k viewers easily for cyberpunk release. He also has his own poe guild and has offered GGG money straight up to get his guild size increased[they turned him down of course]. Thats thousands of potential viewers/new poe players that wont see them playing poe for a week or so like they usually do on a league release. Theres zero chance he would play poe over cp2077 since he even has a small character in the game. GGG gets a LOT of free advertising from these people that they would lose.

you can all ask for polls or whatever else you want. It would straight up be a real dumb financial decision to try and compete with cyberpunks release. theres going to be a absolutely massive amount of eyes watching that release. GGG's would be throwing money in the toilet trying to advertise againt cp2077.

I get it some of you are upset but take their viewpoint for a moment and think about it. GGG is a business they are there to make money and going against cyberpunk would not be a smart financial move. You think Chris would/could delay the game if Tencent wanted it out, even they know its a bad idea. A lot of companies do this, movies do this, even he bar i worked at years ago wouldnt book bands for the weekend if there was a big name in town.

So people switching from "it's good for polishing" (which if you actually read the post it never claimed anything about "polishing" anything they will get 3.13 ready to move to 3.14) to poe needs money they will starve REEEEEEEEE

You can have your opinion sure but it's none of those non sense you're trying to bait people with.

Pretty obvious reasons why and none of that some people here mentioned in 55+ pages feels right.
