As Shags said, looks like you are hoping they fail just to make you feel good, or happy or some other warped reason.
There were lots of other ways to make this post that would not have given this impression which means this intention was intended.

I'll freely admit that I'm really looking forward to this feature. That doesn't mean I'm going to hold them to some vague description of how long they thought it would take to get right.

All posts like yours do is cause companies to withdraw from communication with their players. They serve no other purpose.

Yes, actually I think GGG should shut up and focus on their work because it's been poor.

They should never have promised a much anticipated feature, and it hurts their credibility when that time comes and goes.

I think Chris knows this and is equally disappointed in some of the development team managers. I expect them to be much quieter in the run up to the next league. His "aplogy" post says as much.

So people need to stop babying GGG like they can do no wrong. They've done plenty wrong lately.

I don't expect GGG to force themselves to meet this arbitrarily and probably off-the-top-of-the-head stated window. If it doesn't happen then we'll probably be given an update on its progress. Apologizes if I babied GGG with this post.

Honestly knowing how things have been going actually releasing the feature is more likely to cause more damage to their reputation regardless of when it comes out. "Oops we didn't meet a promised timeframe" is super whatever.

I already said there was zero percent chance affinities would be ready for 3.12 and now it's just lul.
