Yeah, as usual, people ignore/forget the progression system, and critique the league around what they are able to do from the get-go. Personally, I love myself a progression system. You level up the thieves, making them better and better and give them loot/gear. They become rather impactful after a while. Is this a "Betrayal system", where you feel like you're going on and on forever? No, far from. It's nicely leveled, with rather short, impactful intervals and a firm, graphical interface.

That said, even with said progression system in mind, I think a lot of the monsters in there, are a little bit overtuned, both when it comes to damage and health. I find myself just dashing through them after raising the alarm, because I just can't be bothered to stand there for 40 minutes attacking them (yes, that was what they call an exaggeration). Maybe it's just a melee-leveling-scaling problem, and not a Heist problem.

But the aesthetics? No one can disagree that this league looks good and is pure quality when it comes to lore, looks and feel (and audio+voice acting), if we ignore the idiotic stash-bugs and over-populated Rouge Town.

Agree 100%. It's also quite sad I have to read "personally, I love myself a progression system". This is an aRPG inspired by Diablo.., anyone who is expecting the opposite is playing the wrong genre. This is not directed towards you, but in general.

I see a lot of this in new indie games. Right from the start, the player has insanely high attack speed, cast speed, short cooldowns, etc. The longer the player progresses, the more they feel rewarded. This inherently increases replayability. There is an equilibrium there, and good game design finds the delicate balance of it and uses it to the max.

I died and lost an Unending Hunger, the QQ is real. After they're done fixing it in 1-2 weeks this league will be one of their best ever.

Are GGG still WFH? That would explain them being slower on the uptake with the fixes, plenty of leagues started as messes but the blockers got patched in a matter of hours. Usually.

I love the league, thus nullifying your juvenile opinion.
Heist is garbage, sorry to say.
At in Ritual league, its still super rippy for no reason.
One of the worst leagues to come out of PoE since Synthesis.

Devs are still empty brained and haven't balanced it.
I actually enjoy it, though it is pretty rippy.
But fun in its own way.
May your maps be bountiful, exile

Balanced it for what? For you to never die? Tons of people have used Heist to get to level 100 - try running them without alch or transmute.
