No more smuggler's cache in maps.

up up my friend is crying fix this

Haven't seen a Smuggler's cache since early white maps. Probably done over 50-60 maps since then.

Also failed a green mission. Seems to be the common theme judging by this thread?


Edit: Tried the "fix" someone posted in another thread and it worked. For reference, I had not received a smuggler's cache in well over 70 maps. The "fix" is to create a new character, run to the second or third zone in act 1 until you run into a cache, open it, go to rogue's harbor, open the contract from said cache, die in the contract, then log back over to your main.

After doing this, I got a cache after my 9th map. Not sure if all the steps are necessary, but followed the guy's steps just in case, and it end up working.

Same problem. The worst thing is that the mission fails because the game crashed. The "fix" from the comment above did not work for me

Haven't had a cache in about 20 maps. Exact same situation as everyone here describes. Doing a Karst green contract -> game crashes -> no new caches since.

If it matters, I dropped the quest item associated with the quest in a map as it was taking inventory space. I crashed the first few days of the league on every heist, and now can't get any new ones.

Not getting a response from GGG on this gives me bad feelings as a consumer.

So I have the same problem. I have started the league an hour ago, failed the first, green contract, and since then, during leveling process, I haven't found any stashes. Creating a new character didn't help - there is no stash in The Coast area.
Now I don't have enough coins to engage in league mechanic. What can I do?

Edit: a minute after posting I have found a second stash in The Ship Graveyard. Hope everything gonna be all right from now. Good luck for everyone!

Two pieces of information you might find helpful: even without the bug you do not get a cache in every instance. You also don't see the cache from as far away as other league specific map markers.

Update:

I found two or three caches in Harbour Bridge, after that I got one cache every 12 to 15 maps or so. One was even with a green contract.
I do not know if the Harbour Bridge helped or the fact that I leveled up a Thief (in another players Heist).

No cashes in any map at all for me, i can too remember failing a Karst mission.
up to T4-5 maps now (maybe 30-40 maps in)

Edit: another 5-6 maps in found a cashe with a green contract in it

Edit 2: map after that another Cashe, only thing i did between the post and my 1st and 2nd edit was run maps and i bought 1 blueprint (did not even do anthing with it)

I may have found the solution to your problem.

I haven't done any heist till maps and when i have done the first green contract i was stuck getting no other quest contract neither sumgglers chaches


So i came up with following it may help you:

- if you have a green contract do it

- Do any other normal contract ilvl doesn't matter

- do map/ba/harbour bridge as you like (it could take some)

- when you find a smugglers cache it wil contain a green contract

repeat from here now on

and personally i think they should make the caches more common

During leveling i had constant caches in the zones and got to 11/15 quests in that challenge, since i switched to mapping after tons heists 2-3 days ago i did maybe 70-80 maps with zero caches.

It feels weird now being stuck at 11/15 on that challenge, cant find caches.
