Looks promising, I think I'm going to give it a whirl this leage.
However I notice there's almost no DEX from the tree, when we are going green gems that require a decent bit of it. After playing with PoB a bit I'm getting Practical Application near the start with one of the nodes leading to it, and the 30 DEX node on the way to the outer edge of the tree. That leaves just 12 DEX to get from items which shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise we sit at 34 of 111 required DEX. Any other idea to get that DEX pumped up a bit? The tree as presented was completed by lvl 85 unless I missed something, so those 3 nodes should not be problematic to get. |

"Good thinking, I did this as well. The other thing I haven't figured out is how to run Temporal Chains, Enfeeble, and Despair with blasphemy support because that's over 100% reservation. But I'm sure the kinks will get ironed out when the guide is finished! |

"Hey Kaorael! Thanks! I hope you enjoy the build. I appreciate honest feedback whether you like it or not ;). You are correct, there is almost 0 Dex on the tree. As you mentioned, we'll get 34 out of the 111 that we need. So we'll need 77 Dex on gear, unfortunately. Once the guide is done, I'll mention that we pass right by Agility and Practical Application, notables on the passive tree. They are great temporary nodes until we get an amulet with great life and Dex. Also, Amulets are the GREATEST for getting the missing attributes that most builds need. I'm sure you know that but I'll be putting it in the guide anyway. But the nice thing about those two nodes is that they are close to the starting point of the character while levelling The presented tree, as far as I can tell, goes to level 91. It's supposed to anyway. But having temporary Dex nodes, though not optimal, will make gearing quite easy levelling. In otherwords, what you suggested and observed is what I'll be putting into the guide for Dex. help. Sorry I wasn't much help. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"Hey VilandilTasardur! On the left side of the tree there's a cluster that leads to Sovereignty. That reduces our mana reservation enough that we'll have enough space for three 35% auras/curses. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"Huzzah, that makes sense! Thanks for pointing that out, now I'm rushing my way over. Thanks again for a fun build :) |

As a bit of adjustment, I took out the arcanist brand and purifying flame. I find it that the arcanist brand having to cycle between 2 spells makes it drop blades much less often. It gets annoying to summon blades after they disappear on zoning.
I just keep Bladefall linked to culling and selfcast it. It allows to precast weapons before boss fights for example without needing a target active. That also gave me 2 sockets to put in a movement ability. |

"Awesome VilandilTasardur! I'm glad you're liking it. Let me know how it goes. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"Good call RohenDar! That all makes sense. The awkward thing about Animate Weapon is playstyle. Everyone's is different. Once the guide is done, I'll be giving people a few examples on how to change the gems around in hopes to give people a playstyle that's comfortable for them. The self-casting method that you're doing is one of them. Good job making it your own. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

Really enjoying this build. Thank you Wrecker_of_Days.
I agree with RohenDar self casting Bladefall feels much better. Plus having space for flame dash is nice. I took the opportunity to add convocation to the CWDT+Desecrate+Spirit Offering. My minions were falling behind too often, and this catches them right up if I get into trouble. Probably the most effective "Oh S**T" trigger I've had in a long time. So the only things I'm thinking about are how many animated weapons are following me, and if I want to use Bladefall to hurry this fight up. You made a good build, exactly what I was looking for. |
