Hey Afura_33!

Thanks again for your kindness! I hope my builds treat you well in the temp leagues coming up.

I use the same filters I have linked. Animate Weapon doesn't need to have the Normal Weapon displayed on screen to use. So I just use the provided filters and simply press the Animate Weapon button occasionally in battle. The skill automatically picks up a viable weapon for you. It's really easy on console (I'm on Xbox).

IF you find you're in a spot where the weapons just aren't dropping, that what the Lingering Blade skill is for.

So Short answer, your filter doesn't have to show the weapon for you to animate them.

Your builds are very easy to understand and very well explained in detail.

I didn't know that the white items don't have to be displayed on the screen to make animated weapons. This is good to know. I am using the "semi-strict" filter on the playstation and I was afraid of not being able to make animated weapons with that filter :)

Lingering Blade is a good idea, I am not so sure how exactly it works, but I will probably find out how when I start playing your build.

It's not a dumb question at all xPaYn!

Movement skills, for the most part, make me really nauseous. So I just don't build around them. I don't make space for them in my guides because they are easy to incorporate with the freedom of the builds. And for those that are intimidated by that type of customization, even if it's minor, using an Unset Ring works magically.

It's not a dumb question at all. I don't like to use movement skills...but I wish I could. I'd die a lot less ;).

If someone was doing a variation of the build that fairly spammed Ethereal Knives or Bladefall, then I was thinking a weapon with the "Trigger a Socketed Spell when you Use a Skill" craft could be used to cast the curses.

That would remove the blasphemy mana reservations.

Most definitely! That's a really handy mod for sure. It suits all aspects of the build. You'd lose the increase to curse effectiveness provided by Blasphemy, but that's minor compared to the survivability and ease of the mod you suggest. Thanks!

A note for starting out...

Wands, sceptres and rune daggers can spawn with +1 to all Physical spell gems starting from level 1.

It boosts both Animate Weapon and Ethereal Knives (which is handy during levelling).
