This looks great and all, but considering that most players will cover their character with mtx as well as armor already on top of the gear they are wielding, I highly doubt something like this will ever be implemented. Not only because it would be a hard bargain to waste development time and resources on, but also because it would hinder the mtx purchasing from players even more, from what's already a free game that you don't pay any subscription for. Why would devs implement something like this when at most you will see your character model looking like this for maybe the 1st act on strand, before you equip some gear, otherwise, are you going around playing this game without gear on? Because the gear has its unique appearance to it when you wear it, on top of mtx that players put on top of it. And don't even get me started on the nightmare this would create for having to redo the models for every mtx to match how your character is specifically created, it would just not work.
They will redo how the current PoE 1 models for all the classes look for PoE 2, but custom making your characters I don't think will ever be possible or feasible for that matter, unfortunately for the reasons listed earlier.

🔷🔶🔰🌀✨Make trade like the Grand Exchange from RuneScape✨🌀🔰🔶🔷
Let us zoom out more. Bring back 32:9, Heist Alt Quality Gems, Gear Enchanting, Prophecy, Metamorph & Crucible. Stop removing content from the game. Stop nerfing everything. Stop making the game slow Last edited by MLGonthorian#4568 on Sep 4, 2020, 6:47:05 PM

It may be, but like me, there are many players who see it as very important to be able to create our own characters, which increases our HYPE a lot, investing more time and money in these games, but if implementing a character creator is a lot for GGG, they better not do it, in short it will just be one more game...

I hope that one day GGG can implement a character creator, I would not stop playing and creating new characters ..
