Hey, I've tried this build in Heist but things didnt go well for me, now I want to give it an another shot.

I have few questions for anyone whos playing this build in Ritual.

-I remember the damage was there but there was some survivability problem before. One-shots were really problematic but I think we were using Abyssus before then. How is survivability right now? I'm playing a Block Reave Glad and Abyssus one shots are the reason I'm looking for a new build lol :D Can you survive in fully juiced delirium maps, Sirus dominated maps etc?

-Has anyone tried the build with new bosses? A9 Sirus, Maven fights or Maven herself? How is defences and maybe DPS against boss fights?

-Budget. How good the build would be for lets say 40-50 ex?

Grabbed this for fairly cheap. Is there a way to target remove the suffix before crafting Hits Can't be Evaded?

yep, craft any prefix in craft bench so all prefixes are occupied. Then use "reforge keeping prefixes" harvest craft.

1. get a corrupted blood abyss jewel
2. use phase run in CWDT,especially when you have timeless jewel. Check Q&A for detail
3. use brine king as pantheon, if you still have problems, use the new cinderswallow craft I'm using now.
4. get tailwind-elusive boots

if you want to keep the crit multi, you can augment another random mod, say cold. make sure all suffixes are full. Then use remove non-crit add crit. Since crit mod only appears in suffix, it will only remove non-crit mod from suffix. Therefore you will have a good chance of removing the strength.

If you don't wantto keep the crit multi, then you can simply reforge and keep prefix.

Tectonic slam ignite deals pretty low DPS even with combustion so I don't think the higher chance to ignite from tectonic hits is really worth it. The lower damage when totem is not active does not matter on normal mobs and we will be mostly using totem on bosses. The fortify buff might even be worth losing 12% of our damage in those special cases where we can't use totem in a boss fight.

Things may change a bit with the cluster jewel notables, but I feel fortify is the more balanced choice for non-crit.


Hi, glad to hear about your update! I will respond two of your response in one:

1. nice choice about retribution!

2. the warcry clusters's additional node is pretty good investment, I think I will make that update too.

3. Mana flow takes 2 passive points tho, you probably can get away from a 40% mana regen craft

4. nice choice on jewels

5. good to see soul tether is working well! In trade league we usually use cinderswallow to get energy leech too. You can consider using a timeless jewel like we did in mid-buget section, that's 20% life as energy shield.

6. About fortify in non-crit. Another thing that needs to be considered is when totem expires and golem died. For example, in Sirus fight or Maven's fight, the totem/golem might only be able to hit once or twice before they got destroyed by AOE. Then we are on our own, with reduced damage and low ignite chance.

Hi thank you for your answer! After CWDT-switch bloodrage -> phase run survivability is so much better! I totaly overlooked that in your FAQ, my fault. As for tailwind/elusiv boots work is in progress ;)

Is it possible to do crit build without cluster jewels? not having much luck getting the right ones in ssf. otherwise, should i still just go staff non-crit for the block?

Yeah it is definitely possible. You can use the same tree as the 2ex version, just get your staff, double curse and remove resolute technique.

This was my league starter and have been having fun all league on it. Have downed Sirus A6 and a few 10 boss Mavens. Some general thoughts and commentary...

For anybody else getting annoyed at the lack of damage from the non-crit version on T16/A5+ conquerors and sirus, your conditions have to be *perfect* to get the max hits.

For instance, Ngamahu's buff is only up for 4 seconds out of every 10, and the build can't recover flask charges in fights like Sirus or other conquerors. Ticking just these off in PoB shows a dramatic drop in max hit damage, like 60%.

To get perfect damage, you *must* be at your last hit of seismic cry, have your 4/10 buff, all flasks up, wave of conviction, boss is ignited, covered in ash, and intimidated. Not likely to get all of these at the same time after your first hit in the fight.

As such, to make high level conquerors easier, try to keep track of how many exerts are left on your seismic cry and don't use your damage flasks willy nilly. It's tough, especially when you already have to track deadly boss mechanics like Sirus or Uber Elder. Ironically, this meat head barbarian bonk build requires a lot more thought and tact than any other I've played so far.

As for the good, the build is quite tanky with 7 end charges, fast and low cd enduring cry, and immortal call. Base regen is quite good as well. The only things that kill me are fighting 2+ beyond bosses at the same time in a juiced up Ritual cage match (I'm still at a -40 chaos res so partly my fault).

I don't bother with golems at all and self cast wave of conviction to more reliably have it up (4L for it is wave, ancestral chief, herald of purity, combustion). I'm not using skitters at the moment either, my mana reserve is ash, purity, blood and sand. Personally don't like the ring because it gives no life, attributes, or other stats and only has 40-60% ele res total.

Very much looking forward to transitioning to the crit version and will probably swap to Sunder for better clear on delirious T16s and potentially way more damage with hydrosphere shenanigans (plus its one of my favorite skills) or perhaps EQ as the delayed second hit would be wonderful for Rituals.
