The base is the item name (or you can think of it as the "look" of an item). It doesn't matter if the item is white/rare/magic.

Hi, that's because our damage is measured in max hit/second, you can refer to Q&A's why use max damage/hit to measure damage.

Having said that, attack speed is important too, you can find attack speed in Q&A too.

both are very expensive methods which one you recommend


I recommend crafting, as I explained in the currency saving tips, you will be able to make back more than 2 times the investment by selling byproduct. The end-result is you are getting the medium cluster jewels for free plus getting some extra currency.

I still recommend intimidating cry because intimidating cry doubles our damage and also makes enemy take more damage.

Thanks for the answer, so if i'm not mistaken even if it shows a reduction in damage, I should actually be getting much more damages ?
item I added on your pob to check changes had higher base damage and max damage with same attack speed
also if the calculations are max hit / second, adding any other weapon shouldn't break it right ?

There are more factors that affect damage other than base damage. For example, weapon crit chance, which ends up affecting our final crit chances and therefore our final damage. Same applies for crit multi too.

For mana problem i'd recommend to get the divergent elemental damage with attack support.It was a game changer for me for mana sustain.It may be costful a bit for now (around 4-5ex) but its deffo worth picking until u get to the endgame gears.

right, didn't mention I was looking at it on the 2 ex budget and it has RT
so crit can't be a factor that's my bad

Some additional weapon mods are:
#% increased Elemental Damage with Attack Skills
Fire Damage over Time Multiplier
Adds # to # Fire Damage
Gain #% of Physical Damage as Extra Chaos Damage
#% increased Burning Damage
#% increased Fire Damage

many of them have very little impact on final damage, but they are still relevant factors. In fact, even strength is a factor too.
